​@@cybzer0560First of all, Yu-Gi-Oh in a manual sim is easy to accidently miss card effects when you build a deck in the span of an hour and have only a loose idea on how the strategy will work. I mean Gage confused a continuous spell with a field spell, and those have actual symbols on the card. Second, they often record these in batches, or will record weeks in advance so they can't get feedback. They may accidently miss a line of text resulting in a cheat. And that's ok. It's a fun series, between friends, where there is no stakes. It's not like Cimooo is trying to undermine the integrity of the Yu-Gi-Oh card game, he made a mistake. It happens.

I expect that individual to improve and endeavour not to make the same mistake. Cimo and the gang have a history of cheating since SEASON ONE. Now Cimo and the gang have improved a lot since then, but still, there should be no excuse for this episode. The use of Subsitoad is unacceptable. I expect them as content creators to keep the cheating at a bare minimum or none at all. Let me make an illegal play, use a banned card, why do rules even matter? It's just for fun, who cares about rules? Am I right? Rules are there for a reason. It is not try-harding for following basic game rules, and no less Cimo's own rules for the series. He broke his OWN rule he created. That's acceptable to you? And the recording excuse. Bruh, at this point, he has so many videos he can look at for feedback. It's generally all the same critique. He can then use that feedback for FUTURE production. He just chooses not too or glances at them not taking it too seriously. Like make a sticky note or whatever, but idk whats happening behind the scenes. This was a BAD episode, and people like you are okay with it because you have no backbone.

Not only that, but the cheat isn't as severe as running a card that's been collectively hyper-banned, which is what Cimo did this week. That merits an automatic DQ and is not subject to the whole "accepted game state" clause, unlike Gage's little cheats.

My reason to watch this is to be entertained. If Alex wants people to help him out, I wont complain. MBT has complained about Gage's deck choices in the past, if you recall s1 of prog, gage playing chaos got a lot of attention for being overused. And even in this season, gage was starting to get that reputation until they banned chaos envoy of the end. And when Alex does honestly try something different MBT typically shows joy with it. heck last week was an example of that

While substitoad may not have mattered, it still made Cimo play a match winning deck he otherwise wouldn’t have picked. They should just give Alex the auto loss so create a safe precedent. You really don’t want to be in a situation where you have to decide how much the cheating mattered. Safer to just decide it is an autoloss and continue with that mindset

Gage's reply in your comments talking about people wanting him to build his own decks and he doesnt wanna just play chaos.. Gage, bro... what people want is for you to stop treating this series like 'How close can I get to playing only cards that were relevant to the meta of the time.' We want you to actually read the cards instead of only looking out for what were the chase cards when the set originally released. We're here for some entertainment.. The only people who care about the final score of the series are you and Cimo. Everyone else is just looking to be entertained. We want you to throw together some jank deck with cool synergies that never got explored because they weren't good enough for constructed play. We want Alex to do the same thing. We're sick of chaos. We're sick of the creativity of the series coming from someone who isnt playing the series. Stop acting like its either "IWIWD makes my decks or I play chaos".. Your approach to the series is what people are sick of. Get creative, stop whining about expectations and actually try to meet them. If the fan base disappears so does the series.

Game 2 is arguable, idk if he does chaos trap hole there or holds for the eventual Zaborg, plus he’d have an additional turn. Game 1 just incorrect because he’d still HAVE the judgment and could hold it for a Monarch, which would also save his life points by taking one less attack and would save his life points enough to where Cimo can’t make that play on the Stardust at the end.

I think it's the principle of it. Like they hall of famed it for a reason and he used the card, so it still technically impacted the game. In a tournament setting, it would be an automatic dq for playing a banned card and it should be enforced here too

If gage had 4k more LP in game 1 he would have been on 5300. His play with Zaborg would get him 26 damage in. next turn Stardust beats over the gachi detaching a material and reducing zaborg to 2400. Now Cimo has no out to the Stardust and he loses Zaborg next turn... not to mention he can just not have zaborg because of judgment...

Substitoad didn't do anything because Gage knows he can't let it do anything lmao. Chaos Trap Hole could have banished Caius and left him with a cat recruiter. Being able to hold the solemn longer would've been less taxing on life points and could've actually stabilised later on in the match.
