@@rigeljimenez4216 nope. I'm a guy. For me it's naturally easy cause I love to be alone. Plus I can't really find many like minded people in my small town. I get more fulfillment socializing with nursing home residents than people my own age.

That is right! But also I am reading that a lot of INFPs in the comments struggle with intimacy as a likely impact of early traumas. I observe the same about myself as who came from an emotionally estranged upbringing. It seems like INFPs who were hurt tend to live in the dichotomy between closeness and isolation. But I encourage all of us who struggle to heal by the radical exposure to what we lacked - love. Have no guilt in being so discerning about picking a partner that you can trust yourself to pursue no matter how difficult or terrifying it might seem at first.

This was so scarily accurate for me. Except I tend to stray from intimacy and romance and prefer to keep distance in my relationships, even more-so as I get older. Most likely a result of childhood trauma, I wonder if a real true love scenario would allow me to let loose and finally indulge in these concepts?..

I'm an INFP too, and I think that instead of being negative about who you are you should just embrace it! I know it can be easy to fall into a mental trap of negativity, but it's important to realize that the reason you feel negative about yourself is because that's just the way that you've probably been molded into since birth, and that doesn't make it right. It's not easy to accept yourself, but you have to keep in mind that YOU'RE the only one who is capable of changing your perspective on life, and training yourself to think positively goes a longgggg way when trying to change your perspective on the world. If I may ask, what do you think the reasons are for you feeling "cursed"?
