First game *was* combo. LS + any puppet, dump (condolence/foolish), or lvl 8 extender is FTK. If you are really struggling to open FTK you can run Foolish Burial Goods with Bridge of Salvation and Cobalt Eagle to turn Rouge Doll, Condolence, Foolish, Little Soldiers, or Scissor Arms + Thrust into FTK (making Thrust live by forcing Dark Strings trigger on their board). Kinda bad in MD cause FBG is at 1 and you don't need field spell to FTK with 2 Strings but its the only way to make Thrust an enabler with Terraforming banned and it does raise FTK consistency by a decent margin.

the really frustrating oart of this tream was there there were actually people in chat who knew how to play the deck and joseph was making a real effort to learn it and listen to the advice of folks who knew more than him, but between the delay and the several other voices in chat who didn't know the deck but wanted to give advice anyway it created a terrible storm where nothing could ever hope to be gained

For some reason, Cattle Scream looks less grotesque than the other "animal made of mannequins" gimmick puppets, and I have no clue why. I thought maybe it's constructed differently, or uses less of the mannequin's body parts, but no, it's pretty much built exactly the same as Des Troy. I thought maybe it's because the mannequins are less detailed, so they look like blobs instead of contorted body parts, but, not really. Like, it's very slight, but there's still the same amount of definition around the pecs and abs, it's not like the heads are less detailed, I just don't get why it's so much less visceral and weird looking.

I have never seen a more realistic portrayal of playing this deck on ranked. People love complaining about the FTK but that part of the deck almost never happens because the FTK just dies to 1 or 2 interruptions. Your follow up is snatch steal 1-3 targets, 1 special summon pop and a bunch of 3k beaters with 0 protection.
