The reason Prophecy Destroyer looks so different from the other prophecy cards (yes it’s a “spellbook” card) is because it’s a TCG exclusive so the artist who drew it is different from the artist who drew the rest of the archetype.

That happens with a lot of the TCG exclusives that will take a while to get OCG printings generally don't have artists from Asia (or sometimes artist that don't even draw anime). Prophecy destroyer was a TCG exclusive for almost a year before it had an OCG printing. In fact, Prophecy destroyer had two more printings in the TCG before getting its only printing in the OCG.

Destroyer of prophecy is actually wicked good for link climbing. It's effect is not once per turn and the banished spells can be recovered with wheel of fortune. Play it with reasoning and the grass look greener and it becomes block dragon

Dimensional Allottope Varis is a psychic tuner, which means you can get it out with E Tele... and it can change its type and attribute to, idk, earth Beast and tune it with any lvl 4 earth to make nat beast? Not the worst card ever. The Submareed looks really funny for Pacifis, and you can banish it with Sea Stealth Attack to keep it off the field for your traps. Kinda neat!

Real Talk: I feel like Dimensional Allotrope Varis should be more well known. It's a level 1, Psychic, Tuner, with 0/0 stats that can change it's type and attribute? It may not be good in the current format, but it has all the pieces of a versatile combo piece. I'd look out for this one.

It just came out at the wrong time. Nobody was willing to run E-Tele and a garnet just to extend their combos. And actual Psychic decks had better things to use E-Tele on because of PUNK.

I think the best you can do with it, synchro-wise, is combine to it with kashtira where you can make Zoroa. Though, even that is only good after sideboarding. There's just not enough synchro monsters that need specific typed/attribute tuners to run this. I guess it could be used to summon selene, any of the charmers if your ED or sideboard is that empty, or pisty.

When I caught wind of Tearlament, I thought it was some broken fan made archetype because of course Konami wasn't gonna let this one slide... right? Idk how I missed Tear. Everyone was talking about Spright and the Ishizu cards, I didn't hear anything about Tear till I randomly looked in the comments of a video. And then I quit Master Duel because all my decks are invalidated now.

Also that card might specify max level 12, because of Number iC1000: Numerounius Numerounia, which has a summon requirement of 5 level 13 monsters. If not for that max 12, players might think they can level it to 13 as a material for Numerounia. Just a thought. Numerounia IS the only rank 13 Xyz monster, and it is wierd that it has THAT summon requirement.

I think the guy in the stinger meant he saw fan art of Gagagigo on FurAffinity, not specifically Stumbling. For me, it's Koa'ki Meiru War Arms. The art shows it's clearly an armored bear, but its type is Warrior, not Beast-Warrior or Beast, and its effect is so counterintuitive.
