No Giant Rex, 1:2 ratio of Foolish Burial Goods to Survival cus reasons(?), 1:2 Ratio of Thrust to Tactics even though the card you set can't be activated from thrust going first and going second it's useless if it isn't searching Evenly/DRNM in game 1. His build is playing going second spells, but no real payoffs for them, and no handtraps that can be used as material for Double Evo pill. Also no Nemeses meaning the moment someone Ashes Misc it's gone forever since no Crossout/Called by.

@@RepTheoAndFriends So Chengying and Omega hand ripping for 1 + returning Misc to grave makes sense since it's nicer and you're playing casually/friendlies(I'd prefer a more fun Evolzar xyz/unorthodox synchro/Dino fusion board in that case). However, my combo only used 5 Extra deck slots in Scrap Wyvern, Apo, Borrel/Dweller, Nat Beast,and Gallant Granite, while also shuffling back Misc off of the same 2 opening cards in Xeno + Baby. You still have 2 Petira, 2 Ovi, 0-2 Dogoran, 1 UCT, 0-1 Pank, 1 Visas, 1 Double Evo Pill, 0-2 Nibiru, 3 Ash, 2-3 Imperm, 3 Fossil Dig, 2 Xeno, 3 Lost World, 1-2 Planet Calarium, 3 Prospy in deck, and 10 extra deck slots. Unless the summon combo of Chengying and Omega is Nibiru safe, it's just a weaker end board for courtesy's sake or friendlies.

Chimera is usually used as link fodder from wyvern to something like ip or other link 2 to have apolusa as part of your board. Chimera turns on evo pill as well. Scrap raptor and overapter into savage dragon equip scrap wyvern for more negates. The new transcendrake spell can also search raptor as well. In the next set the new evolsaur xyz makes a better rank 6 than solda anyways so don't need a 6 and a 4 for baronne.

I think the premise is that you won't use the entire extra deck turn one. For example, most of the links are for the turn 2 otk. Basically, its sacrificing rebuild ability for turn one constancy And hoping the opponent can't break through.

I also just think your version of this list leaves a lot to be desired. The 12* Transcendosaurus isn't good enough to warrant a slot and you should be playing another normal on top of the Frostosaurus. I prefer Sabersaurus cuz its the ancestor of Gigantozowler.

I think so many of the Dino cards are too fun. So instead of picking am engine, I play every engine: trancendrakes normals, unexpected Dai, Dino rabbit, true king, and scrap. I took out the doodle dinos, but might as them back too. By having a 60 card monstrosity, it reduces the chance that I draw the giga brick of glaciosaurus. Is it good? Not really. It's it fun? Hell yeah

This list is just worse than Normal Dinos with the scrap package that ends on; Nat Beast, Apollo(Any link 4), Dolka(Any rank 4), and any high level Dino. I’ve played this list on Masterduel for 7 months, it’s better. However, there does seem to be some consistency boosting cards here to pop the baby. So maybe you splash them in to the normal package.

Miscellaneousaurus only applies to Dinosaurs you control. Petieteranadon was destroyed from Deck thanks to the effect of Lost World, and was thus never in his control.

That's what I'm getting from this one, but I'm not a dino player, so I don't really know what the problem is Probably a combo of a lack of hand traps and the minimum # of dinos being played. For instance, god forbid you're going 2nd against any deck that summons a Kashtira and they just happen to banish your single Tyranno.

I don't get the plays you made in game 2 versus Bystials at all... Why did you not attack UCT into the set Masquerade, when you could've done, activated its burn effect for 1k, then when they brought it back you could've attacked it with UCT again, and burned for 1k again. And you also didn't use UCT burn effect when attacking the second lost world token, which was a free 1k burn too. And then you would've had an extra 3.5k to face through Meteorus, rather than wasting its attack on the set Masquerade. Maybe I'm missing something?

Is survivals end really worth it? it seems kinda dead outside of a matchup like swordsoul that summons normal monsters. Popping your own frostosaurus seems terrible and popping the lost world token means that you either wont summon from surivals end because you protected your token or you wont protect the token in which case you lose your targeting protection. Leaving us with mainly the grave effect, which dont get me wrong is very nifty in a deck like this, but is it really worth all that set up?

If you play the scrap package like I do, you can use it as sort of a tech card. Instead of using scrap wyvern to pop baby at the end of the scrap combo, you could just pop the set survival's end, which could act as an interruption in grave via pop. This could also help you keep the plays safe since before the choke point of summoning wyvern (misc doesn't protect) you could pop the baby for giant rex or another level 4 immediately instead at the end, getting an early xyx. The problem would ofc be that giant rex doesn't get to grave, and no xyx could cover both monster handtraps AND impermanence. But if you have Lost world as part of the combo, you'd recover the body that would've been giant rex as well as dodge impermanence since they can't target nor activate it with the token on field.

To be honest, I feel like ye've jumped the gun a bit on this one. Dinos in 2023 isn't a fully realised deck just yet - not only is there the new Evol support which comes out over here at the end of the month that pairs especially well with Transcendrakes, there's also Kaitoptera and Horned Saurus that came out in the OCG in June (so we'll hopefully see it by the end of the year), which means you aren't solely dependent on Oviraptor resolving its effect. Okay I got an issue with this list, there’s no Lithosagym. In a format with powerful singleton extra deck monsters like AriseHeart running around, the ability to get rid of it going first is insanely powerful. Sure you wouldn’t be able to search it, but a way to lame out Kashtira is worth it for laming out Kashtira

Would scrap raptor not be the best search target on the planet with the ground xeno? List could certainly use some work.

Raptor just feels so bricky. Having to play at minimum a brick and at most mulitple with the fridge, and just so many ED spaces between appo, scrap wyvern, and borrelsav, when Xeno Meteorus not only saves your normal and gives you multiple level 6's for so much usage in so many ways, it's more often than not better to simply not run the scrap package.

​@@_GLObot Dino was a strong deck before and after the scrap package, all the way up until misc got limited. It was a good engine for a while, now it's just meh. Dino was never broken by scraps, it just made an already great deck a bit better
