Part 2: • MC Eiht: Drake was Cor...
--------
Legendary West Coast rapper MC Eiht addressed the swirling controversy surrounding Kendrick Lamar and Drake. He offered his thoughts on Kendrick's symbolic 4th of July concert in Inglewood, where he wore attire reminiscent of Tupac and united various gang members on stage. MC Eiht dismissed Drake's claims about Kendrick being a fake gangster, emphasizing that Kendrick never portrayed himself as a gang member. He highlighted Kendrick's genuine connection to his community, asserting that while Kendrick acknowledged his upbringing, he didn't flaunt gang affiliations like other rappers.

@@perfect1035 but what I’m saying is that he’s kept them away from the public eye for his image and business you have to you can’t get far with associating yourself with gangs brother, but since this drake beef now he wants to have them all around and i promise you its never been to this extent so he has to ask himself was it worth it

Another black man making another narrative about a black man like he in his head and thinking he knows what's going on in his head Kindrick knows he can't get all the bloods and chips to unite in 1 night whether it was 75% bloods on that stage and you know the other 25 are crips that's still a miracle to pull off and no fights or shootings happend it's a blessing

@@Zack-vi7is idk. He was he was released from prison in late 95. He died Sept 96. Before he got shot or went to prison he was acting and rapping with digital underground. In less than a year he became thug life. He's a dope ass rapper. But he was selling an image.
@Zack-vi7is
@Zack-vi7is Ай бұрын
@@MannyS-cp9co he could only sell that image by living that way tho. The key thing here is that Pac lived that life. He shot at cops, he got shot, everyone around him has said he was down to scrap anywhere anytime. It's one thing when a guy is only like that in his music but Pac was living that way 24/7. He wasn't presenting as something he wasn't. It doesn't really make a difference what he was doing before all that. He earned that respect by proving he was willing to fight and die for it. He was passionate about it. That's what separates Pac from guys like Drake and CB. Drake be letting people piss on him and not standing up for himself. He ran from video shoots in Compton because he was afraid of gang members. Pac didn't grow up on the West Coast and wasn't gang affiliated until he was in his 20s but at the end of the day it's hard to argue he was a fraud when we know he participated in that kind of violence and was fearless. That'll earn you respect from the streets regardless of where you came from.
