MC707 iPad Setup

Hey KW, thanks for the shout out and such a comprehensive and swift reply. (Gumby is fine, but the Monty python version not that awful American green stick man!) I never bought a MC707 as I went straight to the Machine plus, however I have always wondered what connections would be registered by an ipad. It is great to see what is sent to the ipad in generic mode. I think its interesting that only 1 midi port is presented by the MC707, but obviously you have full control (esp. with AUM) of the channel assignment. Also another key point you show is that the Generic driver sends a stereo mix out to the ipad. My preference would be to utilise the MC707 stereo output, use that in the ipad, and then send a stereo output from the ipad via an additional audio interface; I appreciate you have just routed a mono channel to simplify the demo. Cheers! But how do you avoid "monitoring" the dry signal thats coming into the Ipad? I want to hear the 707 going into the Ipad through a guitar amp and back out, but i always hear the "dry" signal coming out of the 707 aswe, where i just want to hear the processed signal. I have the same with the Ipad and a Digitakt. What im a missing!? Using AUM aswel btw!
