MC707 / TR8S / TB3 / TD3 Dawless AcidTechno jam session

A quick go on my new MC-707.
CR 78 Drums and a patch with 4 partials edited.
Extra BD and CH / OH from the TR-8S
Plan is to use the MC-101 for song sketching and then offload the 101 projects into the 707 for final tweaking

Sick. My brain tells me the downbeat is the 2nd beat, which makes the tune sound weirder and cooler due to where you throw that snare roll in etc. Very cool. Slow proggy acid techno vibes. Very cool. I'd play it

Well worth doing. Hollow square mod is the scariest one as you need to remove a resistor with a soldering iron and tweezers. My advice would be to practice on any old PCB first to get the hang of it. The Maffez guide will keep you right brother 👌

Mike, it's program 01:C-D-R on the Zoom ( Chorus, Delay, Reverb) and only the reverb is active which is being sent to the TD-3

1st acid line is the TD3. TB-3 comes in at 1:00 Everyrhing else is coming from the MC-707 👍

Are you sequencing the tr8s with the 707 sequencer or separately?

Main CR-78 pattern is sequenced from the 707. There's another 16 step pattern on the TR-8S with additional BD, SD, OH and CH that I bring in/out with the TR-8S faders. 707 is master clock and TR-8S is a slave. The 16 step pattern on the 8S runs continuously

@@Alpha-DX i have pretty much the same setup except the td3 and experimenting with dawless. I sequence the tr8s as well with the 707 but this is not ideal. I would rather just have a pattern select in the 707 but have the patterns themselves edited in the tr8s itself.

Stereo out from the USB port. No seperate outs over USB I'm afraid but is ideal for recording a live jam. I have a template set in Ableton Live which is just one audio track configured for the mixer. Record / Normalise / Export - job done.
