Just re-watching some older Mark videos, and the part where he says " We know it's NOT cancer "{ tumor on jaw } absolutely broke my heart. Miss you Mark. If I could of sincerely and honestly given you the rest of all my days, I'd do so lovingly and willingly. R.I.P. Mark, Love to all those who share in the sorrow of losing such a wonderful man.

My husband had MRSA and he had a lot of treatments of vancomycin. Unfortunately his first treatment if it killed his kidneys and he ended up having to go on dialysis. He was a diabetic. My husband passed away in November of 2020. He battled a lot of complex health issues and his body could not take anymore. I miss him so bad I can hardly breath sometimes. I know that you have also passed. I hope you get to meet him in heaven as he is an awesome person...just as you are. Rest In Peace....🙏🙏🙏

Man I love your sense of humor.. I have a power port (for IVIG meds I get every 4 weeks)which is better than sliced bread (but it’s not for everyone)and I was on vancomycin for 12 weeks before and after my jaw resection. Due to osteomyelitis that eventually killed my lower jaw and I also had abscess on my face in the same spot as yours Your situation is lots worse you are in my prayers hang in there your stubbornness is what is keeping you around. Keep the videos coming and make recording to both your beautiful children that’s something they can cherish for ever.…(sometimes you just tired of being a damn pin cushion)

I broke my ankle rather bad a few years back. The orthopedic surgeon had me in a soft boot and told me not to take the boot off or to get it wet, and come back in a week for a check up. I had to see my GP prior to the orthopedic, so she took the boot off and asked how long has your leg been red? No idea, I was told to leave the boot on, and that's what I did. Down to the blood lab, then back to the orthopedic surgeons office. I had staph infection and was told I needed to go in for Vancomycin. I got an IV twice a day. Had veins shut down, and got RedMan Syndrome. A few days later, the antibiotics weren't working, got hospitalised. The last great hope was Zosyn, a piperacillin. Three days and the biggest room I've ever stayed in besides a hotel suite, all clear, good to go. Good luck Mark with your journey. You have a strong support group.

Oddly, I didn't lose hair on my head. I did, however, lose it everywhere else. Hospital discharge is akin to being stuck in traffic; "C'mon! Let's get there already!" I'm glad to hear you're doing better, and look forward to seeing you get better, you've been through quite enough. Prayers, Brother!

I was on vanco for stubborn cellulitis of the leg for weeks until they finally switched...but it DID cure me!
@catblue70655 жыл бұрын
Victoria Bergman.. “Cellulitis is a common, potentially serious bacterial skin infection. The affected skin appears swollen and red and is typically painful and warm to the touch. Cellulitis usually affects the skin on the lower legs, but it can occur in the face, arms and other areas. It occurs when a crack or break in your skin allows bacteria to enter. Left untreated, the infection can spread to your lymph nodes and bloodstream and rapidly become life-threatening. It isn't usually spread from person to person.” They put me on vanco cuz no other antibiotic would help and I was in the hospital for over a week. Didn’t realize at the time vanco can cause red-man disease, but other than making me feel a bit crappy, it worked! IV in the hospital and IV 2 weeks at home.

Vancomycin is usually IV only, but it is available in an oral form. I took it at home for a clostridium difficile infection. It is however, VERY HARD to track down because it is rarely taken in oral form. But yeah, technically available. Oh, but it also is a small fortune to purchase haha. Good luck buddy!!!!!!
