Dude I've seen a lot of prep material and "inspirational" stories but yours is sooo legit. I can see how much you work and that you just wanted to do well even if without the super expensive prep course.

I really appreciate it! I really believe in making the MCAT accessible for all students, including providing affordable ways to prepare, like our free e-course: mcatselfprep.com/ecourse-home/

I've noticed that a good number of the top percentile prepared by customizing their own study plan. Good videos. Khan Academy is good too, but there are a bunch of modules that are either too basic or are not high yield topics for MCAT. It's a good resource, tho. Thanks for helping us out, homey!

Can u say me the best books for MCAT plesae
@mcatselfprep95854 жыл бұрын
The two that our tutors and I usually recommend are Kaplan and Princeton Review! In our Free E-course, we tell you which sections of these books line up with the videos you are watching in that lesson. You can see more here: mcatselfprep.com/ecourse-home/

This video really got me thinking about the MCAT! When do you think is the right time to take the test? I will be starting my third year of undergrad this fall and haven't received much guidance so it would be nice to be some advice. Thanks in advance!

Congratulations for achieving such a high MCAT score. I'm going to be writing the MCAT this upcoming summer. Idk if you mentioned this in your video but how long did you study for your MCAT? Also, I plan on studying for the MCAT myself but I'm confused how to set up a personalized schedule. Would you be able to make a video about how to make a schedule for studying for the MCAT. Thank you!
@mcatselfprep95857 жыл бұрын
Thanks Leenz! I studied for around 9 months total, but only studied full-time for the final month-and-a-half. For detailed help on making your own study plan, I'd recommend working your way through the Create-your-own Study Plan Course that I've set up at MCATSelfPrep.com. It will set you up with a personalized study plan using my study plan spreadsheet. Best of luck studying and please feel free to reach out anytime!

What is your pre-medicine major ? And in your opinion.what is the best pre-medicine major?
@mcatselfprep95854 жыл бұрын
Hi Mouad, when I was in undergrad, I majored in Exercise Science. Any major can be a good one to prepare for medical school, as long as you take the pre-requisites! :)
@chrisr56496 жыл бұрын
I've heard this several times. But where is everybody getting their practice exams from? The major test prep companies only provide one exam for free. Is there another source where I can purchase exams?
@mcatselfprep95856 жыл бұрын
Hi Chris! Thanks for reaching out. I'd recommend working your way through the MCAT Launchpad Module as part of my Free MCAT Prep Course (mcatselfprep.com/). I provide a detailed list of lost-cost practice exams in there with direct links. Best of luck studying!

Hey Andrew ! How many months would you recommend to prepare for the MCAT for someone writing the exam for the 2nd time and having taken a prep course (and spent $$$) at the same time? Thanks in advance ! Rodrigo
@mcatselfprep95856 жыл бұрын
Hey Rodrigo! Thanks for reaching out. It completely depends on your unique situation. I'd recommend working your way through my Create-your-own Study Plan Course, which comes as part of the Basic Pro Plan for just $10 (mcatselfprep.com/upgrade-to-pro). Hey I would like to make a study plan. Can we make one for me together?
@mcatselfprep95856 жыл бұрын
Thank you for reaching out, Yewande. To make a personalized study plan you will want to complete MCAT Launchpad and then start working your way through our Create-your-own Study Plan Course, which comes as part of our Basic Pro Plan for just $10 (mcatselfprep.com/upgrade-to-pro/). After that, if you are wanting me to look over your study plan and would really like to take your studying to the next level, I would recommend signing up for a low-cost tutoring session/package with me or one of my tutors. If are interested in being one of my private tutoring students, I would be happy to work with you one-on-one! To learn more about this option, feel free to check out my tutoring profile (mcatselfprep.com/tutoring-profile-andrew-george/) where you can find 20+ student testimonials, Frequently Asked Questions, and pricing information. If you'd like to discuss this option in more detail, feel free to fill out the form at the bottom of that page, and we can set up a time for a free 10-minute phone consultation. I hope this answered your question. Feel free to reach out again and best of luck studying!

Did you get into Medical School?
@mcatselfprep95856 жыл бұрын
Hi Christal! I was originally accepted to several top-25 medical schools, but at the same time, I realized I had a great passion for tutoring and helping students with the MCAT. It was a hard decision, but I ended up giving up my seat to another candidate in order to pursue MCAT Self Prep as my full-time career. I really love what I do, and I find great fulfillment in helping students achieve their dreams. You can learn more about my mission here: mcatselfprep.com/our-mission/
