When i listen to the blues i feel connected to the African American heritage. When they migrated in droves from the Southern states in the early 1900' towards the Northern states, they carried this beautiful heritage with them and which in turn, has transcended into this massive musical showpiece. These sounds carries hope whilst it also preserves the story of hardship. I do listen to the old folks like Robert Johnson, Champion Jack Dupree, Sunnyboy Williamson, Magic Slim and etc. Much love from South Africa.

Oui tu as parfaitement raison ces vieux morceaux de Blues sont très beaux Musicalement et leurs interprétations sont aussi très vrai mais si tu connais pas je te conseil d'écouter le Blues des prisons d'où sors une des origines du très vieux Blues ma seconde viens des Indiens d'Amérique ( référence Mr Alan Lomax qui est devenue le Musicologue de référence aux États unis son fils à continuer le travail et maintenant sa petite fille) le rythme des noirs et le chant des indiens à cette Musique le Blues que l'on connaît aujourd'hui et toute les dérivés de la Musique la Soul et le Jazz viens d'ajouter le Rock et bien d'autres Musiques je suis tombé dedans à l'âge de 8 ans comme Obélix mais sans la potion magique oups et depuis elle est ma raison de vivre à 75 ans j'en ai vue pas mal et je compte bien en voir d'autres je te conseille d'écouter Maria Draine et aussi Beth Hart qui ont des voix de malade bonne écoute Martine et très bonne journée Dan
