Oh really? That's cool, I'll have to check it out. Yeah the Empire was always a reference to Fascism and Nazism. And George Lucas was always antifascist, and he also was sympathetic to the Soviet Union when that was almost unheard of (publicly) in Hollywood. But now that it's out of Lucas's hands I'm sort of surprised that Disney would make something politically progressive at least besides like "girl boss" this and that. (Not that there's anything wrong with "girl boss" as such, but they make it almost every story and treat it like it's groundbreaking every time they recycle it.)

I have read Marx; Communist Manifesto, Das Kapital, various essays. I have read Stalin, Mao and others. And more importantly, I have talked to those who have lived in communist controlled countries. Marxism has earned its reputation. Marxism is the religion of pseudo intellectualism. The politics of envy and resentment… and ignorance. The very ignorance professor Harvey is accusing McCarthy of is true of leftists universally when it comes to studying capitalism and free markets. And the ignorance is willful. I rarely talk with a leftist who can even give an accurate definition of capitalism, much less one who has actually studied the theories. This is what we call projection.
