Sylvanas already was to powerful then she should be in her dual against surfang - she should not be physicly strong enough to head on stop an attack from him and she did. It was a hint that she is more powerful then she was/should be. The shadowlands dives into where she got that power from and when.

i love asmongold and mcconnell, but what kills me is they were so excited watching the cinematic and then they just pick every little bit of it apart and then they finally start actually working on bringing back class skills and such where they are focusing on making classes worthwhile to play and then they just whine "no new class, no new race" they gave us 8 new races this expansion to be fair and id rather they get the game in working order with good classes worth playing rather than just spitting out something new that ends up like the other classes currently

i felt exactly the same as them watching the cinematic. when i saw ICC i was so pumped but then i saw sylvanas just handing his ass on a silver plate and that couldn't have been more off-putting.

@@BattousaiHBr i agree i wish we saw more of the fight but i can also see from the lore perspective why she was able to beat him and especially if shes gonna be a raid boss in shadow lands she has to be powerful otherwise whats the point?

@@AngelofDeath78913 the story was badly written. if you didn't hear the devs on stage explaining why you would have no idea why the fuck she was able to beat him, and would in fact come to the conclusion there was something wrong. if you need people on a stage to explain a game plot point for your players, your story is shit. there should be at least some DBZ aura to convey that she is empowered.

My real problem with Sylvanas beating Bolvar was that we never saw her power increase, it is in the books just not in game and for me that is a problem. It’s equivalent of waiting almost 10 years to see the return of the new LK just to get his ass handed to him in a few mins and to an average player that’s going to seem ridiculous.

Been saying for over a year now that the expansion after BFA would probably destroy the game. Then I started hearing level squish and getting rid of horde and alliance (don't think they're doing that but obviously they are doing the level squish) and it really reinforced my point of view. Hopefully I am wrong and it's an all-time great expansion. The zones actually do look pretty good and I like the idea of getting back old abilities and especially talent points but I don't think they have technically announced talent points have they?
