Nice score they’re bad ass chainsaws not sure if you know I heard you say I’m trying to hold the throttle with my foot but if you press the top safety with your thumb and let go of the trigger it holds it at fast idle

Always syringe some drops of 2 stroke oil in a chainsaw that your trying to start that has sat for years or just use 2strok gas," reason if you run it 2 mant x's on carb or starting fluid it can pull the coatong of 2 stroke oil out the crank bearing & what may be left in the ring land," i just use a syringe a couple of drops to a teaspoon is plenty," some x's i will leave m set for a bit with straight 2stroke oil in cylinder for 2or3hrs or over night," helps free a parcialy stuck ring.

the 1ST I would do is take the sparkplug out and clean w a wire brush and a file 2 get the carbon off the sparkplug it does make a difference next take fuel filter out of tank and spray it good w carb then take air hose and clean ,dry off there a screen in the carb 2 if it's stopped up it will not run either it won't get any fuel I had 2 do these 2 day OMG 3 29 2O23
