I am an Oilers fan and I am excited and the comeback has been great but it doesn't mean anything unless they win the Cup. They are going to have to fight hard for 2 more games. If Draisaitl gets going, McDavid keeps this pace and Skinner holds above .900 then the Oilers will win the Stanley Cup in 2024. It’s not only those 3 guys, but they’re the critical pieces. I’d say if Draisaitl had even 2 goals in any of the first 3 games the oilers are actually up 3-2.

The Oilers aren't letting them. The Oilers have effectively neutralized the forecheck with quick outlet passes back the other way. This leads to odd man rushes for the Oilers and forces Florida to pull back on the deep multi-player forecheck to guard against odd man rushes. The Oilers are also VERY good at denying Florida clean zone entries which disrupts the forecheck timing and allows the Oilers to hit those long outlet passes into the neutral zone.
