The thing about dominoes is that they improved. They used to be borderline inedible but since probably like the late 2010s they became pretty solid. Also you’re 100% right about local pizza places being objectively surperior to the chains almost every time. It’s kinda funny how consistent it is. Two Things: 1- As someone who used to work their ass off at a Five Guys for a living, the only complaints we ever got were about mistakes we made on their burger or the price. If the crew working the line is efficient, you get a godlike burger and enough fries to murder a horse in less than 7 minutes, and if there's somehow a fuck up we remake the entire burger super quickly AND for free. Tip to you if you're reading this: *EAT AT FIVE GUYS. IF YOU CAN GET AROUND THE MARK UP PRICE, YOU'RE REALLY UNLIKELY TO NOT AT LEAST BE SATISFIED BY IT UNLESS THE COOKS ARE BAD.* Fries are 60-70% potato skin though since you make fries out of the whole potato, not just the center 2: As someone who has a chic-fil-a that regularly has their drive-thru line stretch into the street beyond, it's really weird. Due to the life I lead and the ethics I uphold I say that I will never spend money there because holy SHIT are they some fucked up people. But their food is super fuckin tasty. I mean those Waffle Fries? Damn good. Their chicken? DAMN good. If someone offers to buy me some? I'll take it right away because they make good food. It's just a shame that they're abso-fucking-lutely tainted with homophobia, because that's the only thing keeping me from spending my own money there.
