McDonalds VS Hackers - Mc Donald's Free Food Is A Perfectly Balanced Restaurant With No Exploits

The Spiffing Brit

Күн бұрын

Today we take a look at the longstanding history of Mc donalds and their many battles against hackers and exploiters that are trying to find ways to secure infinite free food or just unlimited money by printing and selling infinite coupon codes! So today we will be covering the infinite cheeseburger exploit in the UK. The hamburger discount underflow that was found in Australia and my personal favourite the German hackers who discovered how easy it was to trick the mc Donald's website into just printing coupon codes for every meal! Whilst many try to life hack there way to an easier living we here at the spiffing brit instead prefer to just exploit our way to success and infinite money!
So sit back and watch as the spiffing brit tests to see if Free Food is a perfectly balanced system with no exploits or if the infinite discount coupon codes from mc donalds are ever so slightly broken!
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold and infinite money all in a fantastic montage. If you enjoyed this then be sure to check out more. The style is similar to RT game and callmekevin in parts. A large influence on this series has come from Valefisk and The Killian Experience.

I genuinely love how this channel started as a fun and cheeky game bug showcase for classics like Age of Empire or Crusader Kings, and now the channel consistently finds and informs you of massive systemic failures in things such as; Steam's storefront, Corporate Reward Apps, the entirety of the platform of KZbin, the stock market, discovering a flaw in a government website that technically allows you to own ALL OF SCOTLAND.. Spiff's resume is slowly beginning to resemble that of a Bond villain's.

When I was in high school, I used to spend a lot of time at McDonald's for the free wifi, due to an unfortunate combination of no internet at home and horrible roommates, and I figured out that if you buy yourself a drink for a dollar, there are free refills for as long as you sit there and use the internet. A lot of time I wouldn't even buy food for my stay, I'd just get my hands on a drink (either I'd buy one or one of my friends would be at the McDonald's and would let me have their cup when they were done eating) and have infinite soda for my entire day. Eventually I got to the point where I was running out of money, as I was buying a soda from McDonald's every day, so I just took my soda cup home with me one night, washed it, and then put it in my backpack and smuggled it in the next day. There was probably 3 months where I was at McDonald's every day, had McDonald's products in front of me to look like a paying customer, and never payed a dime. Being entirely honest, there's a solid 50/50 chance the employees knew what I was doing and just didn't care as long as I didn't cause a scene or do anything stupid.

My brother and I did this to Burger King in the 1980s when we were in high school. Our bank's ATM receipts had a coupon on the back for a free cheeseburger. So we stood there at the ATM and just did 50 balance inquiries, each printing out our balance with a coupon on the back. We went to Burger King, ordered 50 cheeseburgers and they actually accepted all of our coupons. About a week later, our parents got a phone call from the bank. They had recorded us on the ATM video camera. They couldn't really do anything though, and we've had a good laugh for 40 years now.

man I accidentally discovered an awesome exploit at a local mcdonalds years ago. they had those McDoubles, basically a double cheeseburger with only one piece of cheese. for some reason it didnt cost anything extra to add extra patties to the burger. and adding cheese was cheap, so we would buy two burgers, add ten patties to them and a bunch of cheese, then ask for extra bun (one free extra bun per burger) it was awesome. one night i ordered a single burger with 30 added patties. it cost me 2 dollars. it also shut down their production for quite a long time while they cooked it hahaha. after that they modified their system so you couldn't make any changes to their "value range" items. good while it lasted.

When Maccas did their last Monopoly promo here in New Zealand, the app would read the "chance cards" that came with stuff like drinks etc. and randomly generate properties or coupons on the app, and you could show the coupons to the cashiers in the app and get the free food from them. The things was, the app and cashier had no way of communicating that the coupon had been claimed and relied entirely on you manually clicking the box to say it had been used. Needless to say, I just showed cashiers the same four coupons on repeat and ate for free for like a month.

Burgerking used to have a promotion in Germany, where you had to fill out a survey which gave you a code which you then had to write on the back of a receipt to get a 2€ menu. Being teenager on the munchies we did that quite a lot, usually prefilling the surveys from home (which took ages) so we could buy the menus with the receipt we got by buying a 1€ sunday first. After a while we noticed, the cashiers were checking the codes by looking at them, not by entering them somewhere. So we took our library of codes and managed to reverse engineer the system (it was pretty simple in the end). So our new way of enjoying burger king was just to walk in, look thought the used tray holder for a receipt, write down a code we made up on the spot and buy your 2€ menu. Good times!

You needed to find a machine that had at least 2 buttons for normal coke, for example, you pay for 1 but press both buttons at the same time. Immediately after pressing both, you keep the top one pressed while spamming the bottom button. Keep doing this and the machine will dispense additional cans. Didn't work on all machines, but it was always fun to try when I saw a new machine somewhere.
