That C60 is going to look so damn good on those super singles.... just gotta get that damn Dodge steering wheel outta there before it gets infected by the proverbial wobbles 😅 I'd suggest (if you don't want a large stock steering wheel) to go with a wood rimmed wheel, it would look fitting, Nardi, MOMO, Grant, ECT.... otherwise, if you just want a great driving and feeling GMC/Chevy "truck" wheel, grab a 1st Gen Astro/Safari early OBS C/K wheel (they're the same), they have a "butterfly" pattern (>

Tractor Supply for sure and I think Rural King sells hardware by the pound. They should have all those long bolts and nuts in SAE or metric.

Ah I see now what you did (new viewer), you frame and powertrain swapped your C60 with a Ram 25/3500 and are trying to get all the Ram's OEM creature features to work in the C60. 👌🏼 Sick... can't wait to see those super singles on there, they're going to take this rig to 11, even _without_ paint.... wheels and tires make or break a vehicle, and those singles are going to go so hard on this. Definitely needs an exhaust and an emissions delete on that pig, she's entirely too quiet for a 66-ish C60 with a Cummins.... and like my previous comment before I knew, definitely need to do something with that horn/airbag cover on the steering wheel to hide that Ram logo.... might be able just to remove the cover, take the emblem out, use some fiberglass embedded Bondo to fill in the dent the missing emblem leaves, sand it flat, then get the thinnest vinyl or leather you can find, use a razor to etch an X in the center backside of the material where it's going to lie over the bag (if the bag comes _through_ the cover, if it _flips_ cover for deployment of the bag, don't worry about etching the X halfway through the material, and just wrap the cover....then you'll have a de-emblemed steering wheel 👌🏼😉

@@johnnygeorgopoulos4072 I got the super singles and dually wheels on there now, even the dually fenders, sneak peak in one of the shorts I uploaded the other day, new video coming soon. I like your idea about the steering wheel cover, airbags are deactivated in this truck. Maybe slap a Chevy bow tie on there. Also this truck is tuned and deleted. Few videos back I pulled the egr crap off and took the muffler off and I was comparing it side by side with my fourth gen(exactly the same truck, crew cab long bed 2010 2500) and the fourth gen is significantly louder. Has to be the tune that makes it sound different

Is there any reason why you didn’t put heim joints or enduro joints on the axle side of your traction and link bars? If it’s because of the clanking, enduro or Johnny joints “same same” have bushings in them and function like heims. Also they are rebuildable. The bushings will cause binding while the suspension cycles. And the way you mounted the traction bar brackets on the axle won’t help much. The bar needs to be under the axle not in front of it. Just passing some a little know how I don’t mean it as judgment or anything like that.
@MonsterCustomFab-HotrodsАй бұрын
This is the first set I’ve built, I used the bushing because I had them sitting there, was not aware that they could cause binding, Truck drives fine with them in there so far, I’ll just have to keep them greased well, this may sound stupid to some but the traction bars and long arm kit was for looks more than functionality. This truck doesn’t make enough power to worry about axle wrap or wheel hop. I just wanted the traction bars there because they look cool tbh
@alfredolujan6580Ай бұрын
@ it’s a plus if you can save money using what you already have. Not stupid if it’s your truck and it’s the way you want it. Traction bars for some reason make a lot of trucks look better.

@crueljimiАй бұрын
It goes without saying you’re doing great work but you need to run a shackle at the forward traction bar mount because you have two fixed points that will cause the leaf springs to bind when cycling. This is why leaf springs have shackles, when the leaf springs cycle up and down they shrink and grow eye to eye and the two fixed points of the traction bar will prevent this…cheers
