I wish Alan had his ring on his left hand, and that his lantern was solid green

I got classic Alan Scott, and I kind of see some "premium" treatment on his painting, there's a whole of more paint than dread lantern, but I wish this sub-line do more actual accessories, like a secondary head or more constructs/another hands

I really love both these Alan Scott figures. I just wish the Dread Lantern had a new headsculpt with an angry face. Love the headsculpt on the regular Alan Scott and his bright colors. Looks absolutely fantastic!

With a cloth green flame cape will be a good idea?🤔

I just wish them be a single figure with swappable head, gauntlet and detachable/replaceable chest symbols as options, so we can have the benefit of two variants in one, change it anytime we want, and I don't mind them adding couple more bucks on the price tag - instead of necessarily buying both of them as they are right now (and as I plan to).

Love the classic Alan Scott and got mine on the way in the mail right now but Dread Lantern is probably the only Dark Multiverse/Death Metal figure I'm passing on. Not a bad figure by any means but just not a must have like the classic.

You have the knack for being naturally funny and a great reviewer. Good job, Sir.

So from what I understand, the (flawed) premise behind Collector Edition aside from the card stand and theoretically very slightly more niche character selection is a speculator-targeted feature: all figures have chases. Normally, Platinum chases are infrequently spaced out. My understanding is that CE has chases for literally every release and possibly that these may be, by case ratio, more common. The thinking is essentially supposed to be that a big part of that extra $10 is hoped to be viewed as a "raffle ticket" for a $100 variant. This has all kinds of problems that I have ranted about elsewhere. Not the idea of occasional chases but essentially a "chase upcharge" justified by MORE chases and chases for every figure in every wave. Wave 1 is Superman #1 Superman, Alan Scott illuminated, and Abyss' other costume. All three wave 2 figures have been confirmed to have chases but the specific identities are not confirmed. Expected to be Jason Rusch Firestorm, Silver Age Sinestro, and Johns JSA Hawkman. Again, paying more for the increased chance at a chase is annoying and it's especially annoying that about half of these releases make the more desirable deco the chase. (Superman, Hawkman, and arguably Sinestro.)

Great video Brad, I hope they redo Jon Stewart Green Lantern body mode with this one instead of that bulky mode that he has now

Indeed his ring is on the wrong hand and his lantern is not a construct. With the more comic accurate versions from both DC Direct and DCUC ( the only negative being IMO his facial expression) I’m not as impressed with this version. I own it and I enjoys whooshing him around but it’s still a couple of factors short of a perfect representation. Smaller cape clasps, a collar to his shirt and the ring on the left hand would have made him perfection

Isn't Alan Scott left-handed? And his lantern isn't a construct.

I didnt know much about Dread Lantern but as a toy its a more interesting look than the plain Alan Scott Green Lantern. In the comics it seems like Dread Lanterns cape is entirely purple. The green was the power glow

Several thoughts: 1- If prices weren´t so high, if there weren´t SO many titles, and if events did not have SO many tie in it would me reasonable for a person to collect all the tie ins of an event plus any regular titles one usually follows. But is impossible. For instance, in Spain (that isn´t as expensive) they´re going to sale as trade the first 5 issues of Superman plus the Dawn Special for $25. The same for the JSA. And then they´re going to collect random Lazarus Planet titles and sell those for $25. So, what if on top of those I wanted to read Batman? Or some Black Label titles? Or other titles I´m behind? ...and this is DC. I can´t imagine Marvel where every event takes like 15 issues plus the tie ins and after said event is done another starts right away. Oh yes, and the prices are much higher. 2- As for the Collector´s Line: Why not get rid of that stand for the card and include a flight stand for flying characters? And if they don´t add other accessories. Nobody wants to pay more money for that.
