I missed out on this when the preorder launched. However, about 2 weeks ago, I saw it available for preorder from Best Buy, of all places. I took a chance and preordered 2, because, yes I'm a big Chris Reeve fan. Tuesday afternoon this week I got a notification that a package was delivered outside my door. I wasn't expecting anything , let alone this gem, but I was pleasantly surprised that they came in. It made my Christmas. I tried to swap heads with the neca version, but it sits too high. I bought 3 of the neca version. One already broke with minimal posing, so getting this more durable version was a no brainer.

This makes me so happy. I’m a big fan of his too, even more now than I was then. Like I knew he was special, but couldn’t comprehend how irreplaceable he’d be. Since 1978 no one has been able to fill his boots. We’ve had some great Supermen, but none of them are Reeve. Enjoy the figure, it’s a great one.

I really actually liked Superman 4. I thought nuclear man was menacing either way And I hope Todd makes a figure of him. By the way the second Head sculpt depicts him by the 3rd act of the first movie.

I don’t hate Superman 4, because I love Superman, but….. Why were humans breathing in space????? Even as a kid it lost me there. I do like Nuclear Man, and would love a figure of him. I would also love a Superman 3 two pack with Bad Supes and a Clark Kent figure. 🤯🤯🤯 I completely forgot that’s the way Supes looks in Act 3. Good memory.

@justgeekingout-1 Just in one scene with nuclear man and Mariel Hemingway but you know It's an 80s superhero film. Highly fictional. I just don't hold things like that on the film. They weren't doing practicle superhero films yet. But it's Reeve and to tell ya the truth I think he looked his best in 4. The side bang looks natural even though it's a piece and he has just the right bulk. The costume looks more filled out just a bit more improved.

I feel you. I enjoyed the fight against Nuclear Man, and seeing Clark on the farm in the beginning. We don’t get a lot of the real Clark in the series outside of Superman 2. I enjoyed the suit the most here, but I think I like his build in Superman 3 the best. What are your thoughts on James Gunn Superman?

Love the neca figure comparison. I did a repaint on my Justice League Superman so it doesn't look black. You should check out my review to see the new colors. I think you'd like it. Easy mod to do too.

You’re right, I was being dramatic. I actually like Superman 4, flaws and all. I hope you get that chase too. GameStop seems to have a lot of them, from what I’ve been seeing online.

It’s an interesting comparison. I think over all the sculpt is better on the Neca, but the paint is better on the Mcfarlane. Mcfarlane is also way more durable. The Neca feels like it could break if you pose him. Both good figures, but if I had to choose I’d go with Mcfarlane.

I dislike the wrists or forearms, what he would have done was just reuse the earth 2 Superman arms look at the cuffs on that figure and you’ll be like yeah, they are thicker arms but look better

The Neca is till cool, and some of the sculpting is great. It’s just too fragile

Yes thank you the blue was to dark the red was to dark no yellow simbol on he’s cape cavill suit was just to dark and he’s cape was way to long to

Way too dark!!!! It didn’t make sense. It didn’t have to be as bright as Reeve, but in some scenes it almost looks black.

I feel you. I think the Neca’s sculpt is slightly better, but love the paint apps on the Mcfarlane. Also the Neca is way too fragile, posing him is scary.
