@@michaelcurtin524 I thought you were referring to Green Lanterns before the Green Lantern corps, where Alan Scott was the only one known, and the others were alternate universe Alan Scott Green Lanterns. Miscommunication, my bad. But, considering you were referring to the post-Scott Green Lanterns, a #2 pencil isn't completely covered in yellow... so, the yellow vulnerability doesn't apply unless IT'S completely painted yellow. For decades, I wondered why people didn't make yellow slugs for guns and yellow shrapnel for bombs.

The modern Green Lantern Corp was inspired by E.E. (Doc) Smith's Lensman SF book series which featured dozens of aliens and humans given powerfull Lens by a benevolent anicent alien race. Note: Series contains scenes that may seem racist and sexist by modern standard.
