I don't care much about marvel anyways. I do have some legends but mcfarlane knocks them out of the water in terms of detail, shelf presence and etc. The MLs are way too simplistic and look cheap. Plus character selection doesn't really matter cuz 90% of MLs are characters who no one knows or gives a shit about. Mcfarlane does have issues but outclassed MLs in every way.

Todd doing Marvel figures would be great!.I’m a Marvel fan first, which has drawn me primarily to Legends & 1/12 scale, but there’s no denying how much more detail regularly goes into McFarlane figures. Their lines are better articulated than Selects and I’d love to mix Marvel and DC together. How possible? Seems unlikely, but crazier things have happened… 🤔

Character selection...I will give you an example...they gave us Syrne.. she is technically a banshee. She came with one head and it does not even show her super powers. Hasbro has done this with most of their figures. The lack of care that goes into the work shows and these influencers make fans feel like we HAVE to have the figures. I stopped collecting. I don't have that kind of money anymore. The waves just keep coming and coming. At least some other toy lines give us months to prepare. These guys drop waves one after the other and a lot of the molds are reused. They keep raising the prices. They try to rob us by popping out different versions of figures. If I had the wealth and space, I would keep collecting all of the figures, but as a struggling American, i don't have the dough anymore. The Haslab Ghost Rider is trash to me. My fear is that the next Marvel Haslab is going to be something big and something we all will want and they will charge us $500 for it. This will be to make up for this current failure.

Dude, yeah, huge fan of Marvel Select for years, they might have more limited articulation but they are bulky and awesome. Which is why to me puny Hasbro Legends have always looked like ass. Toybiz had a couple of decent figures, I have to admit. I would love to see Spider Man-related stuff and X-men done by McFarlane 8-)

I'm completing a complete classic X-Men team then I'll be completely done with Marvel Legends. If a retro cardback interests me I'll consider it. I might look at some Select but will be very limited. Btw I seriously doubt McFarlane will ever make Marvel products. He spent too much time criticizing Marvel when he created Image. I am intrigued by the Disney possibility though.

Man! Lol this whole video is gold haha! It’d be very interesting if that ever we’re to happen. I do collect legend’s but not as much as i used to. Think my love for the line has honestly dimmed down drastically over the year’s. I still like the line but ya. Your right though about legend’s collector’s hating on mcfarlane. I can understand some point’s like odd proportions and maybe lack of certain accessories also being seven inch scale. Personally though mcfarlane thus far i think has been the lead example of a solid toy line with the pricing and such. I don’t think he’s made his fan’s to pissed off as much as say hasbro in recent time’s.

I love my McFarlane spawn figures. mainly what I get from McFarlane with some DC stuff. I would love to see McFarlane make marvel figures for the unique sculpts and deco. but what makes me nervous is the lack of accessories and the varients of masked and unmasked. might be asking for much but I would like to not have to buy 2 of the same figure in order to get 2 different head sculpts

At least Marvel fans will get a different, fresh perspective, and I am pretty sure McFarlane will do a great job. I am foreseeing an Annihilation wave, Fear Itself, even tons of Spidermen the same way as Batmen from DC. This move from Marvel was expected, and maybe the delay is a desperate measure given that the American comics are going down the hill, losing big chunks of the market against manga. Probably I will get a Hulk, and that's it. Regards.

I want Todd to release a Punisher figure with a lot of guns if he does get the Marvel license. As for the tribal mindset, I let people collect what they like. Sensible toy collectors don't have the time to argue online unlike so many people who do crap on YT toy channels/other people that collect a specific line. And what about the people who constantly talk sh!t about a toy company yet they don't realize they're pretty much giving that one free advertising in the first place? This is why I can't take people who pretend that they don't care yet they always complain about a toy line/company seriously.

I collect Marvel Legends. I just stick to the main characters and only comic looking figures. I get X-Men, Spiderman and Avengers. I have really slowed almost to a complete stop with collecting them since McFarlane came along.

Marvel select it's doing really cool stuff now, figures with more articulation, and really good accessories, a good example is their last silver centurion iron man. Since I'm more into DC but still like marvel, I'm getting some MS because they scale pretty well with McFarlane's DC multiverse.

@@AngelosCollectibles Yeah, I've got all of those! That Hulk is gonna be hard as hell to top! The Select Ultron, which is superior to the Hasbro one( a very good figure in it's own right), doesn't get enough shine. Of course their Juggernaut is still the best Juggernaut on the market, despite the lack of modern articulation. I've got both classic and modern Thanos, with that modern Thanos actually scaling perfectly with both Select and Legends lines. I snagged The Watcher reissue, and he scales well with Legends. I wish they'd redo She Hulk, sculpt is there and accessories are killer but she's pretty much a statue otherwise. Select doesn't get enough love in the community, and it's sad because they bring more to the table than a Legends figure on average despite the obvious articulation shortcomings. Now that they are near the same price, it's even more blatant how superior Select is.

Marvels legends are nicely made , the plastic and articulation is fine. It’s true Mcfarlene has better sculpts , but legends have good quality . I collect both , they are different in their own right .

I did collected mcfarlane and sold all of them, because those DC icons and DC Direct figures were 100 times better than mcfarlane, dude look at the animated batman that was made my mcfarlane, it's really really bad. If he ever did marvel figures, there will 5 female figures and 100 wolverine and Spiderman, not a complete Avengers set even. Let's hope not! McFarlane is a Genuis and a Legend in a lot of lines, I'm buying the crap out of his Warhammer Armored Figures, but he can't do DC for Crap! All Batman, incompatible scale, and when he does someone other than Batman, half of them look like they have Down's Syndrome! I would buy good DC Figures, I have 6 different DC Earth's in dioramas, I'm a 28 year Collector, approximately 3400 total figures. How many DC Figures have I bought since McFarlane took over? Three! Devastator, Gorilla Grodd, and Atom Smasher! Three Figures who are supposed to be bigger! He's great on a lot of lines, but his DC, IMHO, Stink! 🦨 For the record, I have built; Earth 1: Main DC Earth 2: Justice Society, now with 31 members Earth 3: Crime Syndicate Earth 6: Kingdom Come style Earth 23: Expanded Watchmen Earth Earth 35: Created Equal, All Female: and an accidental creation a few years ago when I got a lot of Female DC Figure Variants for $5 each. Mostly Arrowverse and New 52, also Movie and other TV Versions.

I know McFarlane has his fanboys. And I said that some of his stuff is great. But I'm not going to back down and say that Crap is a Rose. If you like McFarlane, buy McFarlane. I will buy his Warhammer stuff, I will buy other stuff, but I am a long time Collector, I'm not going to buy incompatible scale, horrible selection, and bad sculpts! I started April 2nd, 1994 with the Super Powers line. It had ended in 92, but Toys R Us and KayBee still had a good selection of them.
