Its strange getting an Arkham Origins line launcher with this. Not complaining, it's just a strange choice out of the possibilities in Asylum/City to go with something from Origins.

Hey brad, if you get some black warhammer paint (abbaddon black) and trace around the eyes a little bit you can give them more of an organic shape like in the game and the prototype. It seems like someone in the factory gave him like comicbook triangualar eyes instead of human shaped ones, and stuck the pupils in there. Once i fixed the eyes it brought the whole piece together and he looks awesome. But i agree with you, Batman is nice (if he had double jointed elbows he'd be perfect) but man Joker is really nice. Really well put together. What I'm loving about these offerings is how solid they feel, and how much they've improved.

Awesome review as always, Brad. I found these at my local Target yesterday but they wouldn't let me buy them because they said they were "street dated" until June 7th!! Even though they were the only two left from a case of six that they had already sold over the weekend. These people are so freaking beyond stupid it makes you just want to scream sometimes.

I was similarly thwarted from getting these this past weekend, same story, street-dated June 7th. I had previously seen these 2 a month before at Walmart, but didn't pull the trigger on 'em when I saw them. Now have them on the way from Best Buy (for $15.99 each, too!).

My friend gave the Joker a great review so I know he's awesome. I may add some paint to his face, depending on how he looks in person. That Batman is more to compliment the Joker. I wonder if the Joker needs a purple wash for his suit. Have to check the game again. I don't think the hip joints are ugly in any sense. They are way better than what Mattel has offered... almost ever.... It's the lack of a thigh/hip swivel that I think needs to improve.

The care and effort you put into your videos always pays off. Not that I don't like the less fancy, chit chat videos, too. I want to want these, but Joker's scrunched up, puckered face. I always thought the DC Collectibles face sculpt was way off model, but holy moly, this guy's face only occupies 30% of his vertical head

Not a fan of the face on that joker. If there’s one drawback of McFarlane it’s definitely the head sculpts. Otherwise pretty solid offering

In my opinion, these are McFarlane's best figures so far. This Batman is not only my favorite from McFarlane, but one of my favorite Batman figures. Criticisms? His thighs could be a little beefier and I would feel that would help proportions. Head seemed tiny in the videos but in hand seems fine.

I love these figures. My biggest gripe is that my batmans cape is a little to long. When I tried to have him stand without a base he couldn't stand because of the cape. Thankfully his eyes weren't derpy derp 😆

I like the arkham batman, but I feel like his forearms are a bit too long. But, however, I think what adds to that is that ball hinge of a wrist. I think if you were to pop off the hands and ball hinge on the wrist and swap it for, maybe, Arkham knight batmans hands then his arms would look better. I want to try that but I unfortunately don't have an arkham knight batman. Also, the reason Harley looks a little taller than the original arkham joker figure is because she is wearing platform boots

i mean they look fantastic but as an arkham player the suit is more city than asylum with the symbol and the line launcher and glue grenade are from origins but with those two minor gripes aside these look amazing

What I love the most about these figures is that even though they’re from the games they look and fit well with the comic figures. Hey Brad are you gonna to white out Batman’s eyes? I’m considering doing it, Batman with pupils just throws me off Mainly if they have more of a comic feel to them.

Brad, this question might reveal my ignorance, but how do you affix plastic capes to your custom figures? I've tried using a hot glue gun, but after a week or two, the glue weakens and the cape falls off, so that I end up having to reglue capes onto custom figures on a regular basis.

Idk y but it bothers me so much that he gets gadgets that aren't even in this game. He got the remote claw and glue grenade from arkham origins. There are plenty other gadgets from this game they could get, and they chose Arkham origins instead 🙄 I really hope we get an origins figure with his own gadgets, and can actually hold them.

When i get mine I don't think I'll touch joker cus his head is perfectly accurate. But for batman I have like superhero costume ocd where it has to have this thing right so the biggie, cloth or wired cape. switch head for mattel cus it is scanned of the game model. Make him a little shorter jesus christ he's pushing 8 inches. and becuase of toy ocd get rid of the logo cus it looks wrong compared to game and use a decal or something. also the gray is way too dark. it sounds like i hate the figure but it's just nitpickes and preference.

It's also infuriating that they give their figures butterfly joints and they sculpt the figures to a way to where you can't even use them. The joker figure has the butterfly joints for no reason. Just bad design.

It's just... Batman's legs look awful. They have no definition or tone or correct anatomy. Even in the game they don't look that tubular. He just looks weird because his lower half looks so off. His torso especially upper chest looks a bit weird. But his legs look so bad. The joker figure looks alright though. I can get behind it but the Batman figure is a easy pass. At least the figures are getting better because the first wave was absolute trash. But ugh the Batman just looks so derpy in his face too. I saw a few at my local Walmart and I didnt grab any of them because they all had wonky looking legs and super derpy looking face with weird goofy eyes. Oh well. Hopefully at some point these figures get better.
