Yeah, it's definitely another cool looking remake of the Classics figure but with better articulation and size. Lacking some paint apps when compared to the original or art. But it's still a nice figure 👍

Aside from the lack of paint in those areas that are iconic for spawn. It is still a great figure to pick up because of the look, articulation, and size. I wish it had more details. But I'm glad to have gotten it. That's cool. You also want to get this figure as well 👍

Thanks for watching and sharing your comments. Yeah, it feels a little bland compared to the political stuff or just unfinished in some áreas. But otherwise, it's a really cool looking figure and can be customized or overlooked as far as the missing red. I'm still happy to have it. Hopefully, you get one soon 👍

Nice pick-ups! It's a really great looking spawn figure with the Sculpt and newer articulation. Those unpainted areas really stand out for collector's that are familiar with this spawn character. I was also gonna paint the boots and gauntlets. But I'm still not sure yet! Good luck with that custom work. Hopefully, it comes out cool👍

This figure is almost as much as a Neca figure it should have more paint like i said in my last comment Mcfarlane figures feel wierd in hand with gummy bent accessories kinda sucks cause i love spawn and mcfarlane won't let anyone else make spawn figures i would love spawn figures from Neca i will probably still get this figure since i love Medieval spawn

Yeah, the lack of paint and warped weapons really dissapoint me with the new Mcfarlane Spawn figures. Some are worse or more noticeable than others. His New Madarin Spawn has great paint and details, but the weapons were practically rubber and bent no matter what you do. This spawn looks so cool. But the missing painted areas can really catch your eye if you are a spawn collector and just know the iconic armor colors he has always had since the comics or early toy line. Neca figures are really getting expensive now. I see them for 50 dollars online and 0ver 40 at retail. But they don't miss any details. Mcfarlane really is cutting details in his figures today. It's still a cool figure to pick up aside the red missing on some areas.👍

Oh, I would totally love to see this line with The Dark Age Spawn figures. I still have a ton of the original ones. It would be cool to see them with better articulation now! 👍

I have the same figure Medieval Spawn 2, missing the same arrow from the shield that's pretty cool! but yeah I agree the new figure has great articulation, but the older Spawns just have better paint and detail, like you said! My opinion is I'll take a pass on this figure, great figure but it really does look like it's not finished. Great review by the way, thanks man.

Thanks for stopping in to check out the review and sharing your thoughts. Yeah, spawn is what started my collection 25 years ago. Those figures for the time have some incredible art and deco on them and still really hold up. Of course, they were more statue like or had little articulation compared to these figures now, which I really appreciate today. But it seems like many of these newer figures are getting lazy with the accessories and deco compared to the older stuff and twice the cost. I still think it's a cool modernized version of that Medieval Spawn going back to the first couple of figures. But it definitely feels a little lazy in the areas that should have been painted.

Man, this figure looks awesome but I can’t get over the eye sore that is his right boot. Looks like he stepped in a garbage can. I’m not too familiar with the comic books, so I’m not sure if this is comic book accurate, but as a figure, I think I might skip it because that.

It's an incredible looking as far as sculpt and details. But it kind of feels unfinished with the missing paint on the Gauntlets and big boot. They are always painted red with silver spikes in the comics and everything single spawn figure in the past. It definitely feels off. But it can be customized or overlooked as a video game variant we're the boots are just silver, I guess! I do like the size, and the overall sculpt with this figure enough to justify buying it. I like the way spawn looks but not worth 30 bucks really miss the old school spawn toys were better built and cheaper more bang for the buck

Yeah, 30 dollars is very pricey today for these figures. They are bigger and have better articulation than the older stuff. But less detail and deco now. I guess it's the cost of toys because of the manufacturer costs and inflation today. I'm happy spawn figures are once again being produced.
