Man, I just scored this Spawn today! Love me some Mcfarlane figures, let alone Spawn himself & well articulated?! Opening new Mcfarlane figures back in the day was so fun. I was probably you guys' age when Mcfarlane Toys took over the pegs in the 90's. So great to be getting awesome Spawn figures again🤘

Did you hear the latest news? McFarlane toys has informed retailers that the existing pre-orders for Mortal Kombat XI Spawn Action Figure due in May will now come with the updated version that will include a Mace Accessory instead of a Sword Accessory.

Yes! I saw that, I’m hoping it’s gonna have different paint apps but I kinda doubt that. Weird that they would switch the weapons out but it sure is tempting to grab the variant. Thanks for watching! -Nate

So you definitely think you'd prefer this one over a comic book version, like the prototype shown off? This is definitely a real world look; and reminds me of the sculpting on the last two Marvel Select Venom's. Very detailed for sure. I'm just more excited for the comic line.

Mark Curtis It’s hard to say, I love both looks and I am definitely gonna get the comic book version since I already have this one. I just hope they won’t all be $40+ down the road. It’s already kind of a hard pill to swallow since they only have 1 accessory

I'm totally fine with it being a sculpted cape for this version; although I'd definitely want a wired cloth cape for a regular comic version. So whenever that Kickstarter line gets released (looking like at least 2024 now), a ridiculous amount of customizers are going to be selling them. It sucks that Todd is so hard-headed with certain things. Finally relenting to articulation, and if only he'd agree to a cloth cape. It could be a pack-in, so Todd's sculpted cape vision isn't destroyed.

That would be great but alas looks like we aren’t getting anything like that. So third party it will be. Although I wouldn’t wanna deface that amazing new figure.

@@OutOfTheBasement Oh yeah. When the cape is attached like this figure, I wouldn't mess with it. I have two staction Spawn figures where the cape just sits on top, but I'm sure you'd have to do some surgery (like this one) with any future comic versions. I was going to get a cloth cape for the 80 years Thor, but can't bring myself to damaging it.

Yep! I’m happy that they are, this video was recorded before that information was released. I backed the Classic Version. I can’t wait!

I said I was gonna wait until they became widely available, so I wouldn't be spending more than retail...but I caved in and got one off eBay. Looking at some of the ETAs sites are listing it at (and the virus), I think if you can get this figure for under $40, maybe go for it. It's possible it might continue to be harder to find/go up more in value.

3rd party capes incoming. I recommend DareDevil19 and he (well, his fiancee) is already working on making them. His capes are really good quality and reasonable in price (usually between 24 and 30 bucks shipped).
