ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

McFarlane is really starting to find his groove with these new waves and this Azrael figure is stunning. I can’t wait for the upcoming Dark Nights Metal figures, those are EXACTLY the kind of designs that play to Todd’s strengths as a toy maker. After Mattel systemically butchered the line for years, we now finally have high quality, well sculpted and detailed figures. Keep it coming Todd, keep it coming!

@@kingbreezy4481 oh yeah definitely, I got onboard when #1 went to 4th print and #2 was on 2nd print, and I was blown away, I managed to get both covers A & B by Sean Murphy when he came to C2E2 for Curse of the White Knight, but i could NOT find my first run, i was super bummed Hopefully he comes back and i can get #8 A&B signed for Curse, #8 had not come out by that time

Mawile #303 I was so fascinated by the idea of that massive switch up in the Batman/Joker dynamic. A Joker that, as Jack Napier, fights Batman politically is just something so new and so interesting that I was hooked. Not to mention the art style and designs cuz they’re amazing. The only thing that annoys me is that I haven’t had time to read Curse of The White Knight, so as soon as I don’t have any college work to do, I’m getting straight on that book 🤘

Just got this figure. I like it quite a bit. What I dislike is that it highlights how bad the Arrow figure is. Actually this whole Wave highlights how bad it is. Azarael who is wearing a hood can look all over. The head can actually move somewhat within the hood. The material is so flexible that I wish they had just allowed up to pull the hood down . You can already do pull most of it back . This head design would have been perfect for Arrow. My figure the arms pop off below the should really easily. But it's like in a good way where they seemed designed to come off before you apply too much pressure. My Superman figure one of the ball peg broke off because it was too tight. This would have saved the joint. Overall it's the White Knight Batman Body but with Azrael stuff on it. Again if they just made a few mods. Add an additional rotation for the upper thigh. Double Jointed Elbows.

Did anyone else experience a bunch of QC issues with this figure? Mine doesn't stand on the base, the sword BARELY fits in the hand (I gotta force it in there and almost break the handle every time), his toes keep bending up, his feet don't fit the peg on the base, and I can't really pose it too much because of his knee joints being super loose. I bought it brand new at my local Target for 25 dollars, and all those issues started right out of the box

Wow this fig is awesome. Can't wait for this to get in my hands. Idk why the double jointed knees look so ugly the way how McFarlane does it, he's never been used to doing them so I think that's why. You don't need that extra piece of plastic for it to be double jointed.
