Yes T_T My favorite song from McFly is in their album Wonderland, it's called Too Close For Comfort. It drips emo. And then I also love Danny's live version of Walk In The Sun at the Royal Albert Hall. It's literally a religious experience for me. When he screams "Walking in the suuuuuuuuuuuuuuun" and stays on that u for like 10 seconds or sth, idk, but my soul leaves my body for a sec.

Think this was their last big radio/international hit. They can still hit the radio playlists and their album hit No2 last year but they’re kept afloat by the large fan base now rather than new young fans. But yes as a fan of McFly I’m sure 50% of that is down to their personalities because they all feel like people everyone wants in their life, haha

This is a song they dedicated to the fans back in 2012-ish, when they celebrated their 10 years as a band. And the video is fill with little nods to their entire career, including their individual achievements - such as Doug being King of the Jungle, Harry winning Strictly Come Dancing and Danny being champ in an opera competition I don’t remember the name. Such great song, such cute video. There’s an acoustic version that I think you might enjoy, it’s called “The Dougie version” and it’s so random you can’t help but love it.

That feeling that you tried to describe there. Yup, that's how I feel too, that's the hook with McFly :) They do feel like they're your friends and I am sure they would be if you got introduced. They're the nicest guys, very down to earth and funny and it only becomes better as they age. I wish they had more recognition thoigh. When they went on their long hiatus, some fans switched to bands like 1D or pop-punk bands depending on the sound they favoured But some people seem to be still here :) I guess it will take some time and a lot of promo to get to the same level of the audience they had but seems like I worry about that more than the band. I'm sure they know what they do and it's going good :)

McFly are VERY down to earth considering their level of fame in the UK. I think it's to do with the fact the UK doesn't have the same Celebrity hysteria that the US has around artists and the whole hollywood scene. They aren't Celebrities, they are musicians. Obviously in the early years they had girls throwing themselves at them and what you normally see around bands similar to them but they never were this "celebrity figure" that musicians in the US turn into where they're celebrities first, artists second. Does any of this make any sense at all ha.
