Joannie's Story: Honoring her Mother’s Memory at the Olympics

Right before Dr. Joannie Rochette was schedule to compete at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, her mother suddenly passed away of a cardiac arrest.
Since then, Joannie graduated medical school at McGill University and is pursuing her residency training in anesthesiology.
Joannie is sharing her story as part of the McGill World Restart a Heart Campaign, a global initiative that aims to empower individuals to respond to a cardiac arrest.
