Hey VP, Thanks for the great content. I´v been a fan of this channel and your podcast. I am a little confused though with this new indicator series: I backtested this indicator manually (on gold) with the suggested tweaks mentioned on the blog. And it ALWAYS ends up being minus! I did backtest other indicators as well like Bears Bulls Impulse and Schaf Trend Cycle. The profitability is nowhere close to what is written on the Stonehill forex blog. I mean if this single indicator gives me the amazing ROI of 18.48% in 3 months, why would I even bother to mix it up with other indicators? Or am I getting something wrong in here?! I also read a lot of comments on these videos, hoping to find someone who actually did backtest these indicators, but sadly couldn´t find any. So, I´m asking here: Is there anyone who is actually backtesting this indicators and gaining the same results? Please reply to this comment, if yes!

Hi VP. I know the forex content has long been passed already however I am stuck in having a method for searching for volume indicators. Will you mind assisting me in where to go to be able to find the right one(s)? For e.g I am currently on Mql5 > codebase > search: volume indicators page 3 out of 55 pages. Is this the right way or am I over doing it by doing this as I intend to go through all 55 pages to then shortlist the indicators I find so I can then begin back testing before the forward testing on a demo commences. you wont get the answer given to you from anyone here. you're better to do the shortlisting and testing on your own accord and find the right one(s) that work in your algo. It's a slow process but once you get that magic set up, you won't look back and you'll be more informed and better off with the experience so you can apply things to other markets. don't short change the experience of getting things wrong and going slow

Just curious if your process for trading takes into account the market makers and how they see the market....in other words, they are balancing their books weekly....they don't seem to care about our support/resistance or our indicators. They want to make money when we do those things. Thoughts?

When I found this Indicator a few weeks ago I was stoked, but quickly it became apparent, that if you add the McGinley Dynamic and an EMA of double the length, the results will be the same. Examples: McGingley (lengh: 14) === EMA (length: 28) McGingley (lengh: 7) === EMA (length: 14) I felt so cheated 🥺 (small violin starts playing in the background) 😅
