Season-high 34mins. 8 ast, 7reb, 3 steals, 1 block. The most impressive line of the year for T-Mac. He has been looking good as a PG, more touches.

I remember being in my first college year in 2010 following’s T Mac’s every single move and game, i was very hopeful to see T Mac in a starting role since he started playing great for the Knicks but everything went to hell after those first few games, i still think he would have won a ring if Pop played him in the 13’ Finals if i’ve been a fan since his Houston days and kept watching all his games throughout his last year with the Spurs, thanks for all these Highlights through the years Bmacpoland
@91lifetime234 жыл бұрын
Nod Johnson so much so that it cost them the championship that year, with 25 seconds to win a ring Pop decides to take out Duncan (unbelievable, i knew they were screwed the moment it happened) and leave no center or PF for rebounds thus leading to Bosh get the rebound over Ginobli pass it to Ray and the rest is history, even T Mac could had secured that rebound

So in the 2008-09 season the Rockets were stacked. Yao, Mcgrady, Artest, Raefer Alston, Aaron Brooks, Kyle Lowry, Shane Battier and The Chuckwagon headlined that squad. But Mcgrady was awful that year. He had back issues and shoulder issues and his knee wasn’t right. He played sporadically, having maybe 1 good game for the rockets that whole season(against Phoenix). Then as the trade deadline approached he opted for microfracture knee surgery, breaking the news to SAS first before the rockets. We pushed the lakers to 7 without him. The following season he seemed himself ready to return, except there wasn’t a spot for him in the rotation. Our young guys were playing .500 ball when everyone expected them to be a bottom dweller. He bullrushrd his way back early, making comments to the media ALL THE TIME about how he felt the best he’s ever felt and he wanted to come back and blah blah. So adelman found him minutes. A few stretches of 8 minutes each half I believe. But it wasn’t enough and he kept whining to the media and making demands for his minutes to increase, all without ever talking to anyone in the organization about anything. Eventually they sat him until they found a trade deal that brought in Kevin Martin from Sacramento. He went on to NY where it became all to. Lear that his body couldn’t handle the load he thought it could.

It's sad to see T-Mac play like this. Especially when It's not his fault with injuries to blame. You know what a 21 point game would have been called in his prime? A disappointment. T-Mac was on a Jordan level back then, and I hope he can regain some of that glory soon :)

Players with leg / back injuries usually start to decline by 27+. Amare Stoudemire, Danny Granger, Brandon Roy, the list goes on. Rose is lucky to still be in the league and playing at a solid level... and even he isn’t 80% of what he once was.

I've probably got other sports that I follow, but I can't think of them atm. Don't be so quick jump to conclusions my guy. It makes you look like a fool, lol. I'm pretty well rounded because I love sports in general, and I've been that way for as long as I can remember. Should probably change my profile pic. Played recreational basketball. *And* I graduated with HS honors. I've played both disc golf and ultimate frisbee in college. You're really starting to sound like an idiot now, lol.
