Kind of, but some companies don't have the expertise to solve some of their problems. I can see how an airplane manufacturer or automaker would want to consult Sandy Monroe about making their vehicles better/cheaper to make.

I worked for a multinational oilfield service company with operations in TX. The engineers who performed services with the companies equipment (went out a worked on wells) received a high portion of their compensation in the form of a bonus off of job tickets, as in like 40%+ of total compensation. So a typical engineer would be salaried at 80-90k and depending on how many jobs and the type of jobs they ran would make 150-200k yearly. It was highly skilled, highly experience driven work. Engineers were in short supply, especially those with specialized experience. Enter McKinsey. Who came into consult about cutting cost. They cut the number of support personnel that they didn't see as being that critical to profitability- namely a couple of mechanics and specialists technicians and this had its own first, second and third order effects... don't worry. Then.....and quite Naturally highly compensated employees were targets. On McKinsey's advice, they systemically fired about half of the Engineers specifically the older experienced most expensive employees. They brought in Engineers from Venezuela, Thailand and Iraq. Now if you think this an angry rant about foreign workers stealing American jobs, your wrong, because the company treated the foreign engineers way worse. Often their experience and skill wasn't on par with the senior engineers the company had fired but even when it was, the company treated them like dirt. US based engineers would typically work a 14 on -7 off schedule, the foreign engineers would get like 2 days sporadically off a month, maybe. Cause ya know, eff your family and kids. They would be salaried less and their job bonuses would be yanked for little to no reason. Meaning they would do the work for maybe 70k that a US engineer would do for 150k with no time off. If a foreign engineer wanted to go manager and protest a job bonus worth $5000 being yanked arbitrarily, the company only had to clear their throat and remind him of his work visa, because going home and telling his wife and 3 children they'd have to go back to Columbia or Venezuela wasn't happening. Basically they held the work visa over their heads and pulled crap they would have never pulled on the US engineers because they would have told management to go eff themselves and gone down the road for a better job. Foreign engineers had no such leverage and were treated like dirt. Yes, they did take our jobs but I think just how poorly they were treated by the company is a highly relevant part of the story. The company didn't invest in training these engineers either, if they messed up or didn't have the skills, they were simply fired. 6 months after this shakeup, the US business was shut down for hemorrhaging money. Experienced engineers had long lasting and often personally maintained relationships with lucrative clients when those engineers left, major contracts followed them out the door. Burned out engineers who are home maybe 2 days a month running equipment that is very recently suddenly poorly maintained when they fired technicians who'd worked at the company for 10+ years (hey let's make 1 guy do the work of 3 guys on our complex tools, he wont mind! Imagine the cost savings, you guys are doing to many maintenance procedures anyways) wasn't a winning formula. But sure, they saved alot of money on labor cost and in the short term made the company way more profitable for all of maybe 8 weeks. It was a great company before all of this. It went from the best place I've ever worked to the worst over 2 weeks. Fuck McKinsey and managerial asshole elitists types. *edited for Grammer and clarity

The formula is this: take advantage of their (the company) ignorance by showing them something they haven’t seen before, and then con them into thinking and believing that they should do it so you can get a fat paycheck. God only knows LGBT (prejudiced group heavily focused on vanity that excludes the individual) is now something that is being pushed into the work place because they want every single race working together because their demographics shows that blacks don’t work as much as other groups. Forcibly integrating them, in turn cuts cost’s especially if you consider oppressed neighborhoods with scummy landlords and high rent that was already bought out by those huge corporations sitting right next door, keeping them poor and uneducated, and also unemployed. If a corporate education and brainwashing replaces government-funded schools, then they’ll do it. It’s just communism disguised as a good cause, since it keeps telling you to remove your individual thoughts and opinions for one’s that they procure, conveniently. Now, statistics aren’t racist. Companies are, because they look at you and me as a statistic and it removes the human element from the work force. Big pharma is a prime example. If you want the most profit for the longest time, then you play both sides against each other. So you use your monstrous manufacturing power and make drugs to help people, but if those people get better, you don’t make more profit, and maybe you stop. A solution to this is continuing to let your patients suffer by underdosing the actual cure and add more drugs inside to make you throw it up incase you take too much. All you have to do is call it life-threatening, but you’re big pharma, so you’ll just add actually bad drugs or chemicals into life saving medicine so that they teeter on the brink of being cured, but not, so you endlessly profit as you toy with their life. Let’s take this one step further. Big pharma has such enormous manufacturing power to produce hundreds of thousands of chemicals and minerals and medicines that come straight from the earth, from plants, animals, people, etc. It also has so much data and the ability to experiment on anyone it wants in any number of participants and experiments. Why wouldn’t they create drugs that ruin people’s lives like heroin, meth, fentanyl, opioids, and have criminals that communist governments oppress(like in South America) make those drugs for cheap and smuggle them into America? Hear me out, think about the results of a drug addict. 1. It’s the center of their life 2. They lie cheat and steal for more drugs 3. They are a big source of profit for the underground market since they could just start working for them for more drugs or sell their body 4. They drag pretty much everyone they meet down with them however they can by lying cheating and stealing and getting others addicted whenever possible, and some of them are very hard to spot and can be very manipulative. These drugs aren’t just chemicals, it turns every single person who consumes them into something terrible, no matter the genetics. These drugs cause a LOT of mental illness. Pain, suffering, heartache, all of it comes from real life regardless of the drugs. But in cities, it’s worse, because the corporations oppress people, especially in crappy neighborhoods, regardless of race. The people they drag down with them can be extremely mentally scarred and therapy, antidepressants, psychological treatment, other drugs, all benefits big pharma, and with government subsidies, all of our hard earned tax paying money goes right into big pharma’s pockets, just like how in old England the church would collude with the king and tax every penny out of the poor and use religion as an excuse to oppress the people. Hardcore drugs are deliberately designed to make your life more profitable for them by turning yourself and everyone you know against you by making sure you never let go of your past so you can live in the moment and move on, and they will find a way to prescribe drugs for whatever mental anguish you exhibit. Same. Formula. Create the problem, and sell you the solution, all made out of thin air when none of it should’ve existed. Wokeism is another thing to believe in that doesn’t benefit anyone and they don’t know why, but for kids in school who were bullied into going with the crowd, they did it because it was easier, same rule applies to adults. “Everyone else is doing it so it must be the right thing to do” Transgenderism and ADHD and ADD is being pushed onto the American household through schools because it benefits big pharma once again. Adderall is literally legal meth being fed to children because they won’t sit still in school even though they shouldn’t be sitting for 8 hours a day in one room. Kids should be allowed to be kids whilst learning here and there, but teachers will not have it, and say it’s the parent’s fault. Transgenderism is closely tied because it’s a medical marketing strategy to milk every human of it’s financial worth, so let me explain. “Dad, I’m a woman” “Ok” (Some amount of time later) “Dad, I want to visit the doctor because I want hormone therapy” (benefits big pharma) Then bodily mutilation, multiple surgeries probably costing 100k or more PER HUMAN. And a subscription service of pills for the rest of your life which ruins your body (allegedly. weirdly, no one ever investigated this) and those people end up killing themselves and won’t live past 40. Yes, some people really are mentally ill, but the rest are peer pressured, or coaxed, or conned into being turned into a little vanity experiment that means nothing to no one in the real world except for those who are engulfed and obsessed with vanity, or are being paid to encourage transgenderism. Don’t you see now? They’re trying to get us to mentally subscribe into being human cattle and are restructuring the work force all across the world into being ok with it. And they don’t fucking care, yet there is more to this world than subscribing to the bullshit, and it means staying educated. Words don’t mean anything without evidence and merit to back it up. They know that people don’t need them anymore in this day and age, because we’re too self reliant. Like Crowder said in the video, middle class workers were almost on par with CEOs and elites. We don’t need to rely on government anymore and give away our responsibilities to them if we can take control of ours. Guns, self defense. Food, gardens with nitrogen soil. Herbs that replace pharmacy drugs. Bikes that replace cars (depending on the situation of course) that depend on big oil for gas and… guess what… OIL. Inventions reach the market when shareholders see a good scamming opportunity for at least a century, like computers and propaganda. “Now you can calculate things in an instant!” But they took advantage of your ignorance and added a completely different factor that you didn’t predict, like regulated social media monopolies, combatting “misinformation”. They always sell you something with great benefits but then they add on lots of extras that exploit you way later, gradually, and making you ok with it or you’ll be cut out of the picture. Simple. To whoever sees this, stay strong friend. I know I am, and I know plenty of people who would stand up and fight against this if they only knew the truth. Their game won’t work on us if you don’t let it.

One of the scariest trends in recent years has been the hiring of “consultants” and “temp workers” instead of employees… and McKinsey pushes this *hard*. I have a friend who’s entire work life is this now, and it’s *terrible*. When a company hires someone through a company like Upwork, Indeed, Robert Half & Insight Global… they are paying sometimes more than twice what they would pay for a full-time employee to do the same job. But they are “saving” the cost of managing that person’s payroll, paying for insurance & other benefits (especially retirement) and don’t have to worry about severance packages or, often, even giving notice before termination of their contract.

As someone who works for a "consultant firm". The term is much more broad now. A consultant does anything required by the client, while not being directly linked to it. This creates a degree of separation between the actual company I do the work for, and myself. This is because it makes sense for several reasons to not be in their books. I can get pushed, I can get fired, I can get tossed to another company, I can do lower end jobs and essentially be "demoted", but none of that matters, because I'm not really an employee, so most employee protection laws don't apply. It's all about money, protecting their own ass, so they can do whatever they can when they can. As for the pay gap increase, it's a self fulfilling prophecy. It's the CEO's that decide to hire such companies, so for that company to have its contract renewed next year, they need to keep the CEo happy, because he's the one with the finger on the trigger. So they do their thing and make the CEO more money. The CEO thinks "these guys are pretty good, look how much more I made", and renews their contract. Rinse and repeat for 30 years, and this is exactly what you got. I don't even call it "nefarious" by design. Is just greed pushing greed, everyone out for themselves, and if they have to screw a few thousand little guys to get there... Eh, that's life. Thats why they don't care if they play both sides, or help bad regimes. They pay money? That's good enough for us.

My experience over the years is that consultants are worse than useless. It's absurd to think that people with no experience in an industry are going to provide intelligent advice. If that's what you're looking for, instead of paying big bucks for a consultant, just hire employees fresh out of school and let them tell you how to run your company.....same result but it will be a lot cheaper.

I personally also have a story about McKinsey. When I was at university just a couple of years ago, every year, they would send us e-mails about some bullshit "workshop for women leadership". On the webpage, they said the criteria to participate were to "identify as a woman" and have an excellent academic record. I'm a male student with an excellent academic record. Pissed about the discriminatory nature of a "women's leadership" workshop (zero leadership trainings were offered to men throughout my time at uni), I trolled McKinsey for three years in a row by signing up as "non-binary". This, by the way, prompted several virtue-signalling e-mails from their marketing team 15 minutes after signing up, about how committed they are to affirmative action and the LGBTQIABC non-community. I spiced up my applications by adding she/her pronouns to my resume, and this year I used DALL-E to alter the hairstyle in my resume photo to make me look like a butch lesbian. As expected, they selected me as one of the women to attend their workshop.

I haven't seen it yet but for the sake of the argument let's say whatever the hit piece is is true. Why does that discredit this? Why can't both be true? What is it in our world that people can't see 2 different views? It goes from something like this about a social media personality all the way to politics. Personally there are some things that I agree with on the left even though I've been leaning right more & more & more the older I get but Im able to see 2 opposing points of view. Why have people lost that ability? Why is it one of the other with no room in between? The right is guilty of this as well. I wonder if our country being bipartisan was ever true or if we are just seeing it more with new means of consuming media & input on such a direct level. It's scary.

To say the firm was super woke and super involved with the WEF, ESG, and climate change politics, is an understatement. I was surrounded by a lot of insanely smart and extremely ambitious people. Most went to the most ‘elite’ schools (eg, Harvard, Yale, Philips Exeter). Coming from a middle class immigrant family from the Midwest, it felt like a totally different world than 99% of people will ever experience. Lots of decent people there but I’ve never been surrounded by so many backstabbing sociopaths in my life. Consulting firms can and often do a lot of good for businesses. So do you value freedom or not? What kind of freedom lover has one single car to split between two functional adults? I'm trying to understand how someone could eff up as royally and consistently as SC while being caught in so many lies and hypocrisies, but still have people talk as if it didn't happen. My theory is many of the accounts commenting are bot accounts, but I'm open to explanations. @rockweirdo8147 how on earth did you think I wanted a saint? I said based on his massive hypocrisy and lies how do sone of you treat him like a saint? And again you're not answering. How do you justify depriving people of freedom? Bc of marriage? That doesn't sound very christian. If people are miserable together it makes zero sense to say you don't have the freedom to split. Marriage is a partnership and a union, it's an expression of love, not a punishment. SOmetimes people make terrible mistakes. We let people out of jail once they serve their time for horrible crimes but christianity says marriage is forever a punishment you have to endure if you made a rash decision when you were younger and married someone when you shouldn't have? And how exactly is the word "proven" an issue in the context I used it? It's been factually proven using what hes said in the past that he's lied about several major things. He had a massive blowup with Dailywire based on many lies, proven lies via texts, voicemails, etc. This isn't up for debate, it's established fact. I get the feeling you're very uninformed which would answer my original question about how some of you can treat him as if he is a saint despite his behavior.

You realize this is exactly what Bernie Sanders has been saying for decades right? Bernie would agree with every point Crowder made in this video, because apparently Crowder is a full on socialist now.

@@bobbygetsbanned6049 Crowder isn't saying that millionaires and billionaires should be forced to pay 90% taxes so that he can have free Healthcare and education like Fraudie Sanders. He's merely pointing out the corruption of these conglomerates who are in bed with several commie/authorititarian governments. Sanders is probably a big fan of McKinsey and Co.

I worked for a pan European conglomerate. We were "mckinseyed" as we called it! Filled in lots of questionnaires then the company fired 33% of the workforce. 6 months later re-hired most of them back on reduced salaries as everything turned to shit. Then a competitor bought us out at a much reduced value who also happened to be McKinsey consultant client! That's how they operate.

I appreciate your low-key approach on this one Steven. I’ve worked at large corporations and was subjected to the consultants. In one case it was the Deloitte & Touché kids (20-something’s with MBAs) who came in and had meeting with folks just like that movie “Office Space”. They pad their pockets while caring very little for the millions who lose their jobs or worse.
