Does it have to be topped up or can you just pair your card with it otherwise you gotta make sure you have money preloaded all the time on it??

@@brandonprince4366 I've got one, so I can answer... you can put as much money on it as you want with an app. It will only let you spend up to £500 a day and up to £100 in any one transaction (but you get 3.5% cash back at Pizza Express, so we've split the bill across two payments there once, when it was over £100) Then you can set an amount in the app, so when it drops below that amount, it automatically tops your ring up from your linked credit or debit card. I've had mine a month now and absolutely love it.

It says on the ring, and I presume there will be a virtual card that comes with it, that it can be topped up. As I’ve said in other replies I used to have the Kerv ring and that could be topped up through its own virtual card.

@@danielrawson465 Hi Daniel. No it doesn't have a virtual card that comes with it. You run it through an app. You add a credit or debit card to the app so the ring can automatically top itself up when it drops below a certain amount that you can set yourself. Or at least that's how I run mine. (see my reply above) It sounds like it's quite different to the type of ring that you have.

You make it sound like the ring only works with Visa cards - it's also works with Master card as a top up source. You don't mention that the ring expires 36 months after you buy it. Pretty important piece of info for a review don't you think?

What you mean it EXPIRES, why do they expire.

at the time of making the video it was only the service we mentioned but a few people have mentioned that you can now use both Visa and MC

You don't find out the details the ring gives out (eg, card number, expiry date, CVV). So it works in London but if you need to claim back a refund you have no way of telling London Transport what payment method you use.
