Yes, and there are spankings in both of them, and they get over it and become engaged or reconciled, and in this one the two young ones kiss and become engaged in the next scene, and when John Wayne spanks his wife in the final scene, their daughter is one of the onlookers and approves, because she knows that that is what her mother needs to be reconciled with her father.

Also one of my favourites, and this spanking scene is much better than the one that ends the movie, also because the beautiful daughter (Stephanie Powers) goes from spoiled brat to sensible and attractive daughter -and fiancee (to the man who had the guts to spank her) - in a few days. And later in the movie she approves and even helps when her mother gets the same treatment - with the same positive result.
