Good video McMole! I tried to explain this to a few naysayers in my alliance as well... I originally didn't care for this mode in Contest of Champions and the soft launch, but once I took the time to learn it, I'm ranking in the top 500 each one I try for... Also, pretty cool that I'm in your shard on the game. I keep seeing you pop up either in arena or blitz... Thanks for the good content!

I actually disagree with you a little McMole2. Or maybe a bit of an addendum... If the matchups that you get look like you're not going to win, switch to your LOWEST power squad and take your loss with them. Then switch back to your high power squads for the winnable battles. This saves you some energy.

ylexot gaming yes totally agree which is what we used to do on contest of champions ! Better lose with a low team and then at least you dont go back to 0 like in contest of champions so you can use your op team again after that.

Agree with this. Once that danger meters gets into the red I usually sacrifice my lowest squad to get some easier guaranteed wins for my highest squads.

C Man I'm so confused on what this all means. Your team doesn't permanently die unless your doing a raid and then you have to reheal. So im confused.

When you go into Blitz mode, you should see a meter in the middle of the screen (almost looks like a protractor or a car's speedometer). This meter determines the difficulty of the teams you will face relative to your selected team. As you win games, the meter will increase into the red and the teams you face will be a higher power level then your selected team. If you lose a game, the meter will drop and the enemy teams will be weaker than your current selected team. If my meter is deep in the red, I usually sacrifice my lowest level team to reset the meter. This ensures that my highest level team will get opponents that I can easily beat.

Also, not mentioned, but you have to reach at least Milestone 4 to unlock Rank Rewards. So, not every player will get Orbs. Just the ones that make it to at least Milestone 4.

Lee Stone milestones change for blitz. sometimes 4k pts and sometimes 6k pts

Great videos as always. Need some insights on minions management, which ones to level up. They are really important for challenges, raids,and blitz’s, as you create width to your roster. I also would ask that you consider a kill order for pvp. Which type of toon, or which specific character is important to kill.

Why does the Blitz multiplier not seem to work? If the fight rewards him with 3,781 pts with a multiplier of 1.25, shouldn't he be rewarded with 4,726 pts (4,726.25)? He only received the base 3,781 pts. I was wondering because my Blitz is doing the same thing.

Great Video. All of you KZbinrs are lvl 50+ with an expanded roster. Can you make one on best toons for chars needed to do the challenges. Blasters is what I'm struggling with since it will need me to spend my resources on building minions.

I'm 100% F2P on day 7 and I just scored 255 in Blitz for Black Widow. I scored just under 80k, something like 79,979 so there's a little bit of a reference point. It's extremely tough when you get into tier 7, the danger bars will always be high and the computer will get some ridiculous RNG. I blew all of my blue refreshes and spent about 150 cores on refresh because I thought 80k would be a pretty solid shot at top 1000, and thankfully I was right and it paid off huge. 150 cores for 100 Widow shards = big payoff.

Love your SWGOH videos. Hope you'll do a MSF arena one. Question : If I need 15 shards left to unlock Drax, would you recommend finishing him before starting on Quake ?

What's quake at? Drax is a solid tank for arena thanks to his pretaunt, but quake is hard to ignore. However, 15 shards for Drax is only 3 arena shipments, so it shouldn't delay things too much

McMole2 Thanks for the reply. she's not unlocked yet at 15/45. Read in a few places that quake shards were relatively easy to get. Was maybe thinking of working on Drax until 4 stars or so for DS missions and another tank for blitz. So hard to climb Blitz when you shard is full of level 50, 2 months + players :(

Someone needs to make a video on what it takes to place top 500 or even top 10 in Blitz. Like what is the optimal way to spend your blitz charges and power cores? To get top 10 I'm assuming you have to spend like 2k power cores or something. I managed to place in the top 500 for the captain america one but I missed it for the black widow and black panthers ones. At the moment I am going all out for the current black widow blitz and will probably spend close to 1.5k power cores when its over tomorrow. I am fairly certain I am not spending my cores and charges in the most optimal way though.

Martin McCormick yeah I ranked 274 with 243k points and got 100 shards. For context I am level 49 and probably spent around 1.7k power cores total. I can't imagine what it takes to place top 10. Some people must be spending 5k+ cores.

Blitz = "Play the game 24/7 to get the best or else." Plus, I don't have the resources to support a hero team and a villain team, so it is a laugh to hear, "Work on multiple teams." Eventually, yes. Right now, I do only what my very limited resources (gold and training thingies) allow.

Well, I've only been playing a few days. But getting some Blitz reward is better than none is how I look at it. But Blitz does seem to be designed to have people playing 24-7 to try to get the best rewards.

I just watched another video of a guy going through his Blitz's and it helped make what you were saying make more sense. Even using lesser teams doesn't matter cause you still advance in points, but the game pairs you against weaker foes to match your weaker team. I wasn't getting that before. ^_^;;; Are you going to do a raid video?

if you are struggling with resources like all of us make sure to use your power cores exclusively on energy refreshes and do all of them till the 100 cores a refresh point to help you lvl faster and get gold and training droids on the way. cheers.

Throw a match when you enter a new tier. You currently don't slide back to a previous tier, just the tier you are on. Should help cool down the danger zone a bit. LANA!
