I don't have iron-man unfortunately but I do have cable do you think he will make a decent sub? Stuck on tier 5 only just got ws and korath and cable so they're all around 5k thors about 9k and punisher is about 6k I'm solely focusing those toons for the challenge as my A team is at 80k and barely nudging up in power

I guess this was done before the buff on challenges. Anyhow! I think it would be really usefull to a lot of people if you would do a specific guide for catalyst challenge, what is the best team for those that dont have lets say ironman, rocket, thor. etc. Thank you

Thanks for the great video.I went two tiers up today in one of em, I d say as you point out the training one aint that crucial, the diff in mats aint that great too.I am trying to go as high as possible on the gold one since I am always starving for gold.Got a bit of a problem on the blasters one, you d say Hydra is better than the Shield blaster?Was thinking about using him a my 5th shield member for Iron man.ALso what gear would be needed?I suppose you had max gear here.

No problem. Hydra way better as his AOE hits like a truck. Gear wise was around level 8 or 9 I reckon.

The only one I haven't completed is the catalyst challenge, I need to buff up some of the characters I have unlocked. I only have Winter Soldier and Iron Man leveled up and Iron Man is only a 3 star (I got him during the last Iron Man event, game glitched somehow and gave me a 3 star...lucky me). I don't have Thor, but I used the same team with Rocket instead. I've worked on a couple of the guys and hopefully I'll get'er done this weekend.

Sadly it's been buffed since I done this so is currently very, very hard but hopefully they will tune it down a bit in future.

Honestly not sure but you get unlimited attempts when you fail so no harm testing teams out :)

Cool stuff ... was wondering about arena for newer players who don’t have access to such a deep roster, especially since Black Widow and Iron Man are virtually unobtainable, are here characters that are great on offense that you would never want to set on defense because the AI is terrible...

A team I'm having a lot of luck with is Crossbones, Kingpin, Yondu, Hand Sentry and Elektra. KP and HS can be tricky to get but rest nice and easy :)

Kingpin isn’t very accessible early on... I am currently using Drax, Xbones, Quake, Wolverine, yondu... but I feel the AI on quake is gimpy...

I beat gold 8 with: cap, gamora, drax, quake, and night nurse. In that order front row top down, back row top down. What this guy did was bad with his quake (piss poor targeting). He should have targeted gamora, to hit bullseye, rocket, and gamora with slow. Then killed rocket, gamora, bullseye, groot, in that order. You can't let rocket go off he will certainly kill quake, and you will fail to 3*.

What's the point in slowing a target that's almost dead? Rocket isn't dangerous until his 3rd turn as well. The fact I was able to do it via this method kinda shows it works as well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

For the Blaster I have available Punisher, Hydra Rifle and Winter Soldier. Can may, maybe get Korath soon if I'm lucky. Don't have Ironman and only 5 shards of Thor. Do have Bullseye, Shield Assault and Hand Archer. No Rocket Racoon. I'm already struggling on the lower tiers, is it just a matter of farm, wait, hope, patience...?

Tony, I guess you make this videos for new players and not for the beta players. Having said that, it is not smart to present teams that incorporate characters such as Black Widow, as none of the non-beta players will have her. It is a problem most of the game vloggers have, they all show off their highly-powered teams and impossible additions, yet their audience is more interested in what to do with what they actually have.

Michael Blommaert Thanks for the feedback :) The challenges are meant to be tough and will take time and specific teams. Black Widow can be gained via top 500 Blitz, Premium Orbs and randomly in the store (5 shards per time). It may be a long term goal but some things in this game will take longer than others and this is one of them.

TonyBingGaming, Though I agree the newcomers will get her eventually, chances are big that things will not be applicable any more. The game evolves, and what people need to know, is what to do now. When I started this game 3-4 weeks ago, I looked at a ton of videos and read a lot. Most of the beta players were giving advice, but at that time they were already a bit out of touch with the starting situation. Black Widow, Rocket Raccoon, Nobu, characters such as that are only available through sheer luck. Now I have been extremely lucky with Nobu, but I've checked with other players "my age" and most of them do not even come close to having him. Just saying, but let me also stress that I like your vids a lot and I do get quite a bit of info from them.

this guide is really bad, I come here searching for a good blaster team, and I see Ironman (impossible to get) Thor (really difficult) winter soldier (only available at the end of nexus) and Korath, really hard to find too...

The challenges are meant to require strong heroes and the one you can't farm I give an alternative for. You need to work on this challenge but this is hardly my fault ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
