I think the fender I'd design like that for safety. Fenders on bicycles can be really sketchy, when they fail they need to break away and not get stuck into the tire.

Great review! Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to get mine. Couple of updates announced yesterday: They've changed the lefty gear shifter to one that won't be upside down. It is now an 8-speed (supposedly make pedalling easier). Intro price for the Pro was $1799, but retail price will be $2599 when it leaves Indiegogo. I would love to see max throttle only range under standard conditions (flat ground with little wind).

I am torn whether or not I think it looking so much like a motorcycle is a good thing. It objectively looks really good, but is that what I want an ebike to look like? Interesting bike and amazing price for the time being!

I think the power of an e-bike is being able to go on grass, sidewalks and the road without bringing too much attention to yourself. This e-bike brings attention and I would, most likely, only ride it on the road. I wish it went faster and handled hills with a higher top speed.

Thinking about saving up for this bike. I currently have a sur ron but i want to baby it a bit so a c3 could be a good daily driver. I've noticed that the bike has magura brake calipers with red accents on them. 2022 sur rons have the same calipers but in green. I'm sold on that lol!

Not really, pedaling is awkward, but I don’t think that this bike is meant for peddling, I mean you’ll know when you ride it, everything feels like a motorcycle

Every video on this bike seems to have loud squeaky brakes ... I also don't like that the rider has to use an app to switch modes from street to off road. Better to have switch on the bike.

Have you tried a pedal Electric AWD III? I like the looks of this bike better and the AWD III is way more money- but it's also dual motor/suspension and can take a passenger. Curious what your thoughts are if you've tried both

From what it looks like, the ergonomics of this bike have a lot of issues. From the upside-down shifter (doesn't look professional at all), the low build of the bikes drivetrain coupled with a high weight from the battery and the proprietary tail light that doubles as a seat. Those aspects of this bike make it seem worse than it should be. Having a high ride height could cause someone to fall while turning, the lowered drivetrain excludes a fair portion of the customer base from buying and enjoying this just due to the fact that they aren't tall enough to begin with, worse quality components when they should have (and could have for a $2,200 bike) used something with a clutch to eliminate chain drops on right turns. The only thing I am actually impressed with on this bike are the road tires. However, after reviewing the link provided and their website, they do not offer replacement parts for anything for this bike aside from a lock and battery. If you turn too sharply and rip that derailleur off, you're going to be stuck going to a bike shop to have it fixed. The problem with that, is that a lot of bike shops are turning down Ebike owners because they do not want to work on Ebikes. To make this bike as good as it can be, it needs a lot more work than has been put into it. They clearly cut massive corners to push buzz words like 72 miles and 28-32mph. Overall, I would never encourage someone to buy this bike because there are far better ones out there for the same price or lower.

Try an Ariel Rider X Class ($1699 starting off with the 48V). It goes 32 mph on flats and up hills.

@@MCMTB 73s look great but we’re designed for 5’7 people. The pedal to seat height is seriously terrible for correct riding ergonomics. Found a dual 750w motor with full suspension for $2,500, goes over 32mph and rides 2 passengers

It’s not good for us to like the same thing, it makes the prices higher on brand name alone (cough…Super73).

Their is no way this is getting 70 miles. Stop lying to people thest motor doesn't peak at no 2000w. I have a 52v 1000w motor and that peaks out at 1800w to 2000w so the 750 w motor is no way pushing out 2000w what a joke
