Watching yet another Amazing video by my favorite guys in Australia. The hardest part is being willing to WAIT through the ads for the video to start - It is important TO ME to make sure we keep Al and Woody up and running and compensated for what has become an important part of my week. Thanks as always for being awesome! Also - very cool that you own the mistakes you make, and show how you have worked through them. Too often, car video content is all condensed and all wins - never missing parts, never needing secret tricks and tips from Old Cock - these kinds of setbacks, frustrations and mistakes are all part of the process for doing custom work, and sharing this with us will remind us when our projects go sideways to persevere - if it happens to Al - it can happen to everyone!

@@madgreek253 if you haven't picked up on it before, "lemon squash", a non-alcoholic beverage, is a PG replacement for beer. In the shop tour video, when Woodie opens the cabinet with all the Kirk's brand Lemon Squash, there's one can of beer with a similar label hiding in there.

Detailing suggestion for Woody that will save heaps of time and give a better result - prior to towelling the car off, take the nozzle off the hose, turn the tap on to about half pressure, and then start at the top of the car and work your way down. The water will sheet off, and you'll be left with about a tenth of the water to actually dry with the microfibre...

She's gonna crack and you'll find yourself at 5k rpm with 0 oil psi. Then bad things happen.

At least it's the trans pan and not the engine oil pan. If you hit the pan hard enough to break it, you'll know, and you'll probably shut it off and pull over as soon as you see fluid behind the car, the transmission should be fine. Even with an oil pan you can be okay if you're quick. My friend hit a piece of an axle from a semi truck on the highway, shattered his oil pan, cracked his rear engine mount, and banged up the floor of his car, he killed it instantly and let it coast off the highway, that was a few thousand KM ago, no signs of issues with the car after it was fixed.
