Personal preference, but still a useful tip for some: If you're building a workshop, or simply have the space - get yourself a *big* air tank. Doesn't necessarily have to be an expensive brand new air tank, there are other tanks that can be repurposed if you know what you're doing, or know someone whom does. My friend build a cubby hole for his, so its completely out of the way and doesn't get bogged down by workshop dust and schmutz. Bolt some simple wheels on it if suitable, blam some L-profiles to the concrete floor inside the cubby, and you can easily shove it in and pull it out for servicing even if its hundreds of pounds. Some say you can use water heaters - but this is one of those "at risk" things. If you do, understand water pressure and air/gas pressure work differently, so do your homework on safe ratings. The tank is gonna be pressurized at pretty much all times, so factor in fatigue. You're likely gonna have to modify it, so make double sure you know what you're doing, and get one with a stainless tank once you're at it. Ideally, inspect it thoroughly with s boroscope before proceeding.
