Great stuff from Mura, as usual: no fuss, straight to the point and very useful info. Thanks very much.

i kind of wish the frame display just said how much you are plus as a number instead of -- or ++

Yeah, the plus and minus signs are pretty vague and only say whether it is plus or minus on block.

Thanks. Always good to know how training mode is for a game (still hope to get this). Nice info on AA jab/sweep/jump attack. And the +/- system. Not sure what any character's safe jump is in various games, except Strive where there was a Ky or Sol Mission. Maybe people try various jump attacks or the info's out there somewhere. Solid vid.

Godlike video. I didn't know that -- meant punishable, that's unique to KOF as far as I know
@kyuketsukirook2 жыл бұрын
SFV also tells you how plus or minus you are on block, though there they actually show you the amount in frames.

Very nice guide! Hope you do a general Anti Air guide. The 4 types of jump are giving my simple SFV brain a meltdown, lol. Also, any tips on doing hop on pad? The timing is kinda strict for me on ps4 pad.
@ThemQuekz2 жыл бұрын
If just tapping up isn't getting the stick/pad back to neutral quick enough for hops, you can press up and then immediately press down to make sure it doesn't keep putting in up

The biggest trouble that I face when playing KOF is that I don't know what move is punishable. And I can't search for any frame data, if I did, I would not able to understand it.
@MCMuraFGC2 жыл бұрын
Yeah. i hope that someone will make an application or something that have the frames so we can know
@kyuketsukirook2 жыл бұрын
The Dream Cancel Wiki, last I checked at least, has frame data for most if not every character.

Another fantastic video dude! Question about FRAME , is there any in game way to show what the icons mean? What does the green equal mean? Thanks!
@YoshiExcel2 жыл бұрын
If I have to guess, I'd say = means there's no advantage for either player.
@kyuketsukirook2 жыл бұрын
The "+" icon means you're plus on block (you recover before they do), "++" means you're very plus on block. "=" means both players recover at the same time (also known as 0 on block). "-" means you're minus on block (they recover before you do), and "--" means you're very minus on block.

I keep erasing my Recordings on accident sometimes because I forgot that took off LP+HP & LK+HK for L1 and L2 to Record & Play. I wish this game also had a setting where we can just choose special moves or supers instead of just only recording a reversal, all this menu managing and button binding & unbinding puts an unnecessary strain on your hands and this game already puts your hands through a lot. I am really not a fan on how fighting games are giving us a Great Idea to record attacks faster but at the cost of a button if you play on stick or hitbox where you don't have a L3, R3 or sometimes a Touchpad.

Hey Mura sorry for asking something completely unrelated to the game in this vid but do you have any advice regarding versing someone who’s been in top 16 for capcom cup in sfv. To give some context to my situation I’ve only played around 800 games and I can’t really even shimmy properly and I get way too excited when I land a space trap so I feel very scrub. I also play Juri and my opponent is a ken player but this dude is by far thee best player I’ve come across by country mile as the Americans say, I can say that stepping into the ring with a tournament level player is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced it’s actually fucking crazy and for some reason he sent me a friend request on cfn even though I’m still just trying to anti air consistently so now I get 10-0 every wk lol. I just wanna be able to sit at the table and not feel like I’ve never used a fork in my life if you catch my drift. Any advice would be appreciated thanks man.

Never played a KOF before, if I were to play this would it be hard for someone to get into KOF?
@DougDongo2 жыл бұрын
If you’ve played another 2d fighting game it should be pretty easy to pick up, might take a while to execute hops consistently

This is my first KOF.. its HARD but it's fun... it gets kinda frustrating at times cuz of the execution but I love it so far

Good content but have to study whats negative and plus to do a punish combo is time consuming. But thats the nature of what fighting game is all about. Its do or don't play.
