I think deejay's system of feint attacks/ fireball evades into a quick and unexpected drive rush is pretty sick. It's like you're playing a trickster and also the fact his lv2 is a timing based capoeira dance and can be canceled midway to extend into a short combo is also cool imo

@ dee jay was the first char i got to master in sf6, and I remember how broken he was back then so I can't argue against that. He's gotten a few nerfs since then, but I do agree that his drive rush is still a bit too fast. The higher you go tho, ppl are better at checking DR and deejay has to work for those wins in current meta, he's kinda mid atm

@@thebeluvdtrexKim players are just playing a 1 player game, they just want to stay at the other side of the screen and cycle neutral skips to get in. She’s boring to play against because you have to play really reactive or you’ll be watching a long ass combo into another mixup. Her DI corner resets are so toxic as well.
@starswordsman12 күн бұрын
Chun's stance mechanic is so fun, not just for optimizing her combos and giving her pokes great follow ups. But I've seen pros do stance mixups as well both in wakeup and in neutral. It's insane. And for her character, adding a stance mechanic is a great way Capcom has aged Chun so she plays a little freah while still feeling familiar at the same time.
@EclipseKirby11 күн бұрын
I can't get down with that AKI take. There's a lot to think about with her poison. Do you just play a standard mid-range / zoning hoping to touch the opponent to poison them, or do you try to set up a puddle in neutral to poison them more easily? When they are poisoned and you hit them, will you end your combo with the opponent poisoned or not? Sometimes you get more damage or have other advantages to ending a combo without them poisoned. Do you try to use oki to set up a puddle or not? Now that your opponent is poisoned, you both know your next strike is more dangerous, so how do you take advantage of how scared your opponent is?

Good seeing new MC Mura videos. :) Now. For the next video, I want to see his ideas on improving the game's CORE mechanics and how it would help further balance out the rest of the characters in domino effect. Also, I'd love to hear his ideas of improving Zangief, Ryu, Jamie and others without focusing on fast recoveries and heavier damage. Basiically, Season 3 expectations.
@thatboytoni23812 күн бұрын
I think a lot of people think Zangief is somewhat overpowered if not "fine where he is" so I'm not sure why they would buff Zangief anymore. Ryu and Jamie definitely need help though still.

Glad you mentioned Chun-Li. I think the serenity side of her game makes her have arguably more combo routes from different positions than any other character. However with a plus there is a minus. She’s very difficult to use and you can easily input one combo but the game reads it as a similar action that doesn’t link.

JP's mechanic of portals and feints is really excellent I feel. He might be the best-designed newcomer, and also the one that was hardest to get right. Agreed on Chun. Her potential is limitless with the stances. She has somewhat weak block pressure without them, but it can feel endless once you mix them in. It's a game-changer in some matchups too with the low profile against fireballs. Makes her oki much scarier. The stance shows up everywhere in her gameplan, but outside of a couple BnB combos you don't need to mess with it. I think Honda's mechanic could be a lot cooler if Capcom gives him just a little more buffs to play with.

@@MCMuraFGC I´m just kidding! Yeah! I hope Capcom continue with this trend among all sf6 characters. I think they learned that making different V-skills and V-Triggers sound cool but also means that you are giving "incomplete" chars (making Quick Spin Knuckle a V-Skill for Cammy was like WTF, but , oh well) and usually , with this kind of things. regularly, only one combination (in sfv case) of 4 were used. AND...as SF producers have told in many interviews, they want more people play the game. You put a newcomer , select a fighter, then select a trigger, then a skill....is mindblowing , not to say difficult "I just want to pick a char and do cool stuff! Don´t make me choose between things I don´t know and i´m not interested in learning! I´m not in school bro!"

I am very iffy on Chun’s stance; she very clearly needs it for her combos, I don’t agree that she functions the same without it Playing her and then using AKI’s stance feels night and day, the latter’s is way more responsive, has clearer use as a frame trap with the kick followup, and way more utility overall. AKI feels like she was developed with it in mind from the bottom-up. Chun’s feels slapped on and is missing a lot of coherence in its design or the devs had to lock away tools behind it like bHK, the sliding punch, etc. They also removed utility from her stHP by originally making it unsafe and removing the super cance option.
