Ah yes the microtech. Used to work on a ton of these at GE's old facility in Se Michigan. Much prefer custom BMS, we installed Distech Controls, nice to be able to see your system working, before you go out on service. Good info in here bud.

I hear that, Controls are nice. Especially Distech because anybody can really work on it and access to points. However most of the time I am on a service call it is hard to get access to controls,(guy who has access not on site, computer is in another building, engineer is trying to rush you, etc...)with the microtech I can at least check the operation of the system and make sure all is well and its a control issue.

@@hvacworld7421 It sucks if you aren't the installer, and building management are often clueless about where their stuff is installed. Then there's the nightmares of different people jacking with thermostats, (which I'm sure you know most people think are like volume buttons) they turn it up wait 4 seconds then call to have us come. I didn't mind microtech, it's just fun to build the whole program, the service was more annoying for sure. Alot of that was bad management at my company though. We had an office full of hair stylist graduates and high schoolers, of course they were the owners kids I got tired of non stop running, we never had a service and install side we did it all with 2 guys. Then he started doing residential again, and conduit, and electrical, and plumbing, and roof repairs, and on and on. Looks like your having a good time. Good luck with the channel!

Any idea how to adjust humidity set points alarms? I get the input from the unit, so its not something i can modify from my BMS system.
