I was in 1st battalion Bravo CO. PLATOON 1108 in 91 the very next series behind you in AUG.

How time flies. However, I was Delta Company as a recruit. Bravo as a DI. But I'm sure our paths crossed. 1st Bn oohra!

I was there 97-99 as series cmdr/hq co cmdr/co xo. LtCol Mercado was bn co then if I recall. That was a good tour. Had some good DIs.

Btw, I was a boot in 3rd Bn, platoon 3077 in 1987, so I been on both sides of it. I preferred time as officer on PI. It was a lot better. Had great DIs and my series chief was outstanding gunny.

Bravo 1072 from 7-9 00 - the group that had the kid who went UA in the middle of the night trying to escape the island. Don't suppose you've got a spare yearbook from that cycle? I've been trying to get a copy for nearly 20 years.

@@SteveIIMEF no extra copy. I actually don't have the books for all the platoons. Just the platoon photos and the platoon sheets with each recruit. I know they used to store books for a limited time at PI but 20 years probably not. Time flys.

@@MSgt_Boon Was a long shot ask but thanks either way! I visited the PI library earlier this year and was told they no longer store books from that far back. See them on eBay from time to time but just never for my group. S/F
