Hey there is actually a dude called Alien Food doing a series called "unguided", you mentioned Tai Bwo Wannai Trio being impossible without a guide... He hasn't done that one, but he has done a bunch of others, and it is funny how hard certain quests are to work out from the quest log and dialogue alone.

When i made my iron in rs3 i did something similar, basically try to do the quests without any guides until I got stuck. More immersive. There are a lot of quests that are just insane to try and figure out on your own. Mountain daughter was one I remember - how tf is anyone supposed to guess that you're supposed to steal the ancient rock by breaking off a bit of it with your pickaxe? There's definitely a number of quests which were designed with QuestHelp (old runescape system where you could get a certain number of hints per day for when you were stuck with a quest) or player guides in mind.

just an Fyi settled next time you need to charge a DFS or the Dragonfire ward you can buy "bottled dragonbreath" on the GE or you can make them yourself with 10 dragon fruits and a vial and then go charge it at a sulfur vent using ice gloves and use it on the shields to fully charge them
