So, around 4:15 Fitz says that they can't move the remnants of the nitramine implosion, because it's an entire building, right? Well, I think that this scene is AoS writers secretly laughing at AC writers, that actually made SSR transpot entire imploded buliding on a truck 😅
@Swenglish10 ай бұрын
Ant-Man has a lot of inconsistencies about weight as well. The AoS writers really were putting more thought into these things than most. Maybe because it was a larger writing staff and thus a higher probability of someone going "heywaitaminute", or maybe it was just they lucked out with some really clever people.

I think this episode wanted to take a breath to process bobbi and hunter leaving, and the writers used that to flesh mack out more (as he was introduced with them in s2 and close with bobbi in "real shield"). If the team had dove right back into Hive/Ward-Malick plot it would've been too jarring, almost like bobbi and hunter were never needed in shield. But they mention throughout the ep. that they are all missing them and that everyone has to pick up extra work (also great timing for Lincoln to be an official agent!). Ruben is so goofy but I kinda like it and the Watchdogs are genuinely cool minor antagonists that add a lot to the worldbuilding of the mcu, especially in post-ultron/phase 3 marvel. Anyway, really loving the solo episodes reactions! The next episode is one of my FAVORITES so get ready!!!!

Very very nice, "rubs hands togheter", its all coming togheter. Now you know why i wanted to to start ASAP. And theres more awesomeness to come, in both AOS and AC.

such a great show. Seasons 4 and 5 were my favorites. I've watched them all multiple times. Each character is good in their own way, but Chloe Bennett really shines through as Daisy / Sky IMO.

Just to add more fun for you, there was a third Agents of SHIELD spin-off besides Damage Control and Bobbi and Hunter's that also didn't get picked up, it surrounds something you haven't reached yet, so we can continue this conversation after you get there lol@@JustGavinBennett

There was a series of online shorts that were released to promote Ant-Man and Civil War called "WHIH Newsfront", which are in-universe TV news clips starring Christine Everhart from the first 2 Iron Man movies. They also have a ticker at the bottom showing other news stories, and in one of the videos the ticker reads "ATCU continues investigation into militant organizations that destroyed their facility.", in reference to the news clip seen in this episode. In turn, you'll notice in the news clip of the Watchdogs destroying the ATCU facility in this episode, there is also a news ticker that reads "Gang war rages in Hell's Kitchen. Authorities searching for solution.", which is in reference to the events of season 2 of Daredevil, in which the Punisher attacked several gangs, including a New York chapter of the Dogs of Hell biker gang, which is the same gang that Lorelei took control of in season 1. I have a video on this.

Blake is against every kind of enhanced humans or aliens, because one of them broke his back (Deathlock) and that's why he's in a wheelchair now. Also Ruben saying "You've made it dark" was kinda an admiration of his brothers' work, but yes, it does sound a bit cheesy🧀

Well I said back in my episode 1 of the entire series reaction the only thing I know about Agents Of Shield is that Quake is in it and Ghost Rider, I was spoiled so many years ago. I don’t know when he shows up but I’ve already said I know about it. But yeah his bike did look like it for a second
@mikubelova10 ай бұрын
Enfim, Agents of SHIELD me proporcionou tanta coisa! É... eu nunca assisti o final de Agents of SHIELD...

Mack’s probly one of my too favorite characters in this show, I loved this glance into his personal home life and spending extra time with him. He and May EASILY have my 2 favorite fighting styles and action scenes throughout the seasons 😭🙌 honestly the H2H in this show ALWAYS stood out to me as a person who watches a lot of martial arts based shows and movies, the choreo NEVER disappoints and always gets my HYPE 😤👏
@gracebrown307410 ай бұрын
Haha yeah this episode is probably the classiest you going to get to a filler episode this season. In fact I often forget where it falls in the time line of the second half of this season. But like you expect from Agents of Shield even in the closest to filler your gonna get episodes you still get a lot of information. And information you need for the rest of the season. Haha they never waste an episode I guess shrug 🤷🏽♀️ 😂😂

Yeah, lets just say this isnt the higest rated episode of the show, its one most people agree on is a bit weird maybe. But it does have some cool stuff and ideas. Introduces us to the watchdogs, it has an awesome tie in back to Agent Carter, and who can forget, it gave us the shotgun axe (And daisy showing a bit more of the jaying in her perhaps? She is her mothers daughter after all). Even AOS at its worst, is still good in some ways.
@JustGavinBennett10 ай бұрын
I didn’t think it was at its worst or had in any way I really had fun with this episode. But yeah it’s got some weird Sam Raimi-ish element or something that makes it feel different for sure. But one of the most fun and chaotic episodes so far imo

@@David-bf2cg I'm 50/50 on the ep myself. There's some good stuff to be found here, mostly in the connections to the greater MCU, but the presentation of it all does feel a regression back to the ever-so-conventional network TV days of the early part of season one. Back in the days when the writers had ABC execs breathing down their necks to produce something that they could market to the Grey's Anatomy crowd.

I just dont have time for it anymore, we got Carter going, Jessica Jones, Star Wars Rebels, I got 24 episodes editing of Jujutsu Kaisen season 2 which will all drop at once this month for members and 1 ep per day publicly. Thats gonna be crazy. Echo coming up on Tuesday, we doing Percy Jackson Wednesdays and i still gotta watch What If at some point. If I was just an all Agents Of Shield channel that'd be cool because I'd probably be on the last season by now but sadly I got lots of other shows I gotta put time into.

I literally call it one of the most fun episodes so far in the series...? What do you mean its a joke? I say its feels like its directed or written by Sam Raimi which is a literal GOOD THING. Also somehow its the 2nd lowest rated episode of the series so idk if you're right with that last part, seems like people didn't like it as much but I thought it was great
@gigin653410 ай бұрын
@JustGavinBennett I just didn't understand the "funny" comment. In my understanding, funny means something else, something that gets laughs. Like a joke. But this episode was more to highlight how easy it is for people to fall for the prejudice, like Mack's brother does
