Theres a lot in this movie that doesn't make sense already, but why does Namor care about a vibranium detector if his realm and its vibranium arent even on earth, as this video explains? If the detector detects vibranium in an area, or even detects the whole earth how could it detect something thats in a different realm or dimension?
