A temporary fix at best. Knees will loosen once more with posing over time and repeated tightening can’t be good for that plastic in the long run.

Best I've seen so far, no doubt it would be hard to review a figure that big, keeping things in frame and what not. I applaud your effort and thank you. I worry when the Galactus comes if he will be stable to stand or not sadly. I skipped out on this guy, but I couldn't resist that Galactus lol. :)

You did a great job with the review. It would be nice to see Hasbro release smaller, cheaper, X-Men TAS Sentinels at retail. They wouldn't require as many sculpted details or features as this big boy. And a Bolivar Trask figure using the new lab coat parts.

I wouldn't mind that, too. I regret not buying multiples of the DoFP Box set when Amazon put it up at 50% off. I bought this Haslab Sentinel to make it the Master Mold to go with the past Sentinel figures. However, I actually thought of buying multiples. I'm glad I didn't. My heart would break if I got one or more with weak knees. Right now, I'm just praying that the one I get doesn't have weak knees.

@@bapo22 That could work too, but i would rather have a version of the HasLab Sentinel, but without the figures, tri- and mastermold heads. Heck they can put it in a brown mailer box as long as there is a way to get one for a decent price.

You really gave us a sense of the scale of this thing and I appreciate the closeup details, I love how the wires look and the battle damaged pieces are off the hook. I regret not ordering one now, so I'll comfort myself by assuming I would have gotten one with floppy knees. Really happy for you that you got one with good knees. I'm standing mine in an all glass display in sort of a lean forward pose with many x-men around him to create a battle scene. Even before the loose knee rumors I was worried about weight, and falling over, all the glass in my display. SO i already planned on having some hidden wires tied to help support him on the back side where you can't see. I don't plan on taking a chance and having a colossal BANG in the middle of the night waking up the whole house.

Well apparently(Via the Fwoosh) there is a screw in the lower leg that when tightened well resolves the issue. I don't know if it also applies above the knee as well. So while this shouldn't be a problem, for some people it's a simple solution. But a genuine ratchet would have helped even with a loose screw.

Doesn’t completely resolve the issue as it basically just makes it so that repeated tightening will be necessary as the knees slacken again over time.

The knee issue will eventually affect everyone. It's an engineering fail & hasbro knew better but screwed the customer anyway. Tightening the screw is a temporary solution that will likely cause other problems if done repeatedly.

Great review! I have to say the Master Mold head is my favorite and was the clincher for me to pull the trigger on it. My only regret is only getting one of them, but the one I did get looks awesome battling my ML X-Men.

So my friend got his right. I went over to his place to hang out. And he opens it up while I'm there and his has knees that are so loose it can't really stand on its own. It just falls back at the knees. So he like propped it up with a stack of books... He was really pissed.

Nice review as always. Congrats on receiving yours. I do believe if they wanted to implement proper ratcheting joints they could but perhaps it was a cost saving decision. Nevertheless the figure is amazing. For displaying on higher places a fishing line can be used to anchor it to the wall , or ceiling

Wow, I can only imaging how big Galactus is going to be in box. The artwork on the box looks like a checklist of the tiers we should of gotten or at least a wave of figures that need to be purchase for the sentinel. Great job. One can feed off your excitement at the beginning. I really like your review started on a positive note. “Not Fat Joe”…funny.When you pulled on the back those creaks had me whispering “careful” at my screen. That ball peg for the head made me think of Pac-Man Sentinel. If I were to buy this, and because I live in Los Angeles, I would definitely have him displayed in battle damaged mode because if he fell over in an earthquake there will be less tears. Hasbro better not say they cannot put bendy wires in a new Doc Ock if they could do it here. Yes I understand the wires are longer and thicker (sorry, hahahahahahahahahaha) but it is possible. I absolutely regret NOT getting the Sentinel. Again, great job. Thank you

I thought that the has-lab sentinel looked really cool when it was first announced and unveiled about a year and a half ago. I didn't buy one because it was too much money to spend for one colossal figure at the time and I was also limited on space for it as well. Expenses are still tight, so I won't be trying to buy one right now... And yes, I didn't buy and back has-lab's galactus. Which is okay because I felt that galactus was too short anyway. 😋

At the end of the video you said some dude lives in Singapore and his Sentinel has loose joints, makes sense that if you live in a warm region or area that you would get loose figures. The ratchets should have been in the knees but overall there's more good than bad with this Sentinel, I literally have no problem with my Sentinel knees at this time and it was worth every penny if you're a fan of anything that has to do with Sentinels or XMEN or just really epic figures in general.

I own hasbro's MAS01 optimus prime and nemesis prime the one's that are 20 inches tall and those figures have ratchets all over the place and I paid half the cost of the sentinel. IMO it's the legends team that dropped the ball. Aslo those figures don't slouch back. Even during the earthquakes here in cali

My friend got his and looks amazing but the legs are so loose on his. Particularly the knees. He was pretty pissed and I just felt bad for him. It can barely stand on its own. He has to kind of prop it up. Everything else looks cool but the knees are so loose it's a shame.

I think the best thing would be to use one or two hot toys stand to support the figure ... Because anything movale on that scale would have weight on it ...Plus depending on the shelf height the gravity would be much higher....So best course of action would be using hot toys or any 1/6 th scale stand to just support it
