For those not familiar with it, MD/PhD programs are typically laid out in the following order: 2 years of medical school, 4 years of PhD work, then the last 2 years of medical school. In this video I look at some of the factors that went into my decision to go down the MD/PhD route as opposed to the MD or PhD route alone. There's a lot to consider because enduring both medical and graduate school is quite the commitment!
