Taking on a wardrobe build for my daughter I found out that it wasn't as difficult as I initially thought.

Lol "super easy" as long as you have a workshop to build it

That was great, you did a brilliant job for the 'boss'. I did smile when she gave you that hug, priceless!

Hello RJ, I rarely work with MDF, but I will be sure to remember your tip with the dowels for use with fasteners. It's always rewarding to make something for the nonpaying customers at home, isn't it? 😃

They are always the best projects something simple that brings a smile to their face and to know they will remember that you made it for them.

MDF can have a bad rep but for affordable projects that are going to be painted they can come out pretty awesome and it is very easy to cut. With good techniques like you demonstrated then projects can come out fairly strong. Very nice end result and a wardrobe your daughter can be proud of!

The hug at the end is the best part!

Thank you so much for this video! I am trying to build a "built-in" cabinet in my office closet and this video gave me so much clarity on how to plan. Also using the dowels for reinforced screw holes is genius. Probably adds years and years of life to the piece. Thank you!

Tip for working with mdf: polyurethane glue works best for mdf since it has no water content to swell the grain.

A nice combination of low cost material and quality joinery techniques 👍
