Tip for working with mdf: polyurethane glue works best for mdf since it has no water content to swell the grain. Cool build!

Thank you so much for this video! I am trying to build a "built-in" cabinet in my office closet and this video gave me so much clarity on how to plan. Also using the dowels for reinforced screw holes is genius. Probably adds years and years of life to the piece. Thank you!

Add a touch of pva to your paint for your first coat of paint and that stops mdf edges going rough 👍

The dowel additions for taking screws is a good idea,,I too do not really touch mdf , do not like the stuff. Seems to look okay for a while but things can go wrong after a while. Its like material used not to last and look great for a short while

How did the paint finish look on the edges ?

Really good, just sand them super smooth and I just used a water based undercoat and enamel and it turned out great. It is that simple.
