MD MERCH CLICK HERE: teespring.com/en-GB/stores/md-fish-tanks I built a dedicated Harlequin Rasbora aquarium in this 60cm aquascape. I love the way it turned out and planted aquariums are perfect for this species and they love swimming in and out of the plants! I needed to move them from the large aquarium because I have big plans for that tank with the Electric Blue Acaras!!. Love the scape and specially when you completed the hardscape and added the moss, I went "WOW", it looked so aesthetic with just the moss also. But the final look is super lush and am sure the rasboras will love it in there :)

This was definitely a “trust the process” tank because the whole time I was screaming “no it’s not centered!” But I absolutely love how it came out and the balance it ended up having. The colors and textures were so artfully arranged. It was beautiful.

LOVE the darker substrate MD! The moodier colours & red moor roots definitely give this tank a slight Halloween-y vibe, can’t wait to see this one mature 😍

Hands down, my favourite scape. Every single bit just clicks. I liked it with just the moss, but when you started adding all of the things it just went straight into artistic mode. Love the redmoore wood and the red plant pop ups. After this, i think i still got a space to fit another tank in my room. Well done!

So, I'm a total aquarium newbie! I just upgraded the 29-gallon I had to a 65 gallon and I decided I want to get it as decorated/planted as I can afford before adding more fish (right now it's looking pretty sparse, not gonna lie), only... well, I've had a really hard time visualizing how I want it to look -- I'm not experienced enough with aquarium plants to see a picture of one and think, ahhh, that'll look perfect next to this other plant/behind this rock. Plus, the variety is overwhelming! It was really nice to watch what you've done and which plants you used, and it helped me feel confident when I bought some plants of my own. I have a bunch of java ferns - which are propagating like crazy - already along with anubias nana, so I got java moss, anubias nana petite, and cryptocoryne petchii like you used, and then I branched out and got some alternanthera reineckii mini, red flame echinodorus, and cryptocoryne wendtii. I'm hoping it'll be a good mix of back-, mid-, and foreground stuff along with some driftwood. I still want to buy some rocks and a big piece of manzita wood to stick in there upside-down, but that'll come later!

A thing of beauty. The rasboras are so easy and overall healthy fish and makes a great choice for a fully planted tank with the reddish orange against the green. I combine them with chilli rasboras for some scale, pygmy cories, Amano and cherry shrimp and rabbit snails!🪴🥩🍒🌶️🐌🌿

I gotta say, you did a phantastic job on this one MD! The tank gives me such amazing vibes, I could sit in front of it for hours and just loose track of time looking at this... I´ve been a long time viewer, all the way back to where you had your little shed in the garden full of tanks. Over the last few months I´ve developed this feeling that because you´ve been scaping so many tanks, the setups slowly started to get a little repetitive. Don´t get me wrong, I still liked most of them a lot, but I was kind of missing a more sophisticated aquascape in my opinion. Now of course it´s your own personal choice how to set up the aquariums and I appreciate your idea of keeping aquascaping easy and budget friendly while still creating pieces of art, but I gotta say today's video was quite an unexpected though very welcome change! I think the use of those branches, together with the black substrate and the varieties of greens and reds just did it for me! So congrats! I also liked the overall style of today's video a lot, it seemed more relaxed, not quite as hectic and the choice of music was great. Because of that I could really focus on the creation of this stunning work. So yeah, just wanted to let you know my feedback and give credit where credit is due! Keep up the good work, I´m looking forward for more videos like this in the future!
