They WARNED us to not CUT this EXTREMELY OVERGROWN yard

In this video, we almost left due to a crazy discovery at this eyesore of a yard in Houston during the heat wave. You won't believe what we found! We first started with our scag mower and had to cut our way into the jungle of a backyard. We also had to use our machetes for the back and the garden. But with is being St. Augustine grass it came out beautiful

The hospitality of the Hispanic community in the Houston area always impressed me. I lived there for many years in the 80's and 90's. I cannot believe the number of empty deserted/ignored houses there are in the USA. So many people don’t have homes and they just get left to rot, etc. so sad. You guys did an amazing job on this yard, such a dramatic transformation, especially considering all of the wasps in the backyard. Please be very careful when you see wasps, yellow jackets, etc I don't want to see you get stung or bitten by them. Please get some bee/wasp spray to help protect yourself against them & yellow jackets. Also please get some liquid benadryl, so if you would happen to get stung or bitten by them, you can stop any possible allergic reactions before they happen. Since you are not involved with the disposal of wasps or hornets. Maybe get some bug spray. Try a few different types of spray. It will at least reduce the chance of being stung.

I see these overgrown properties, and you know how much worse they'll be if not done in time. The saplings will be so much bigger, taller, and way worse to remove. What you do when you transform these yards is help to solve a bigger problem down the road. Eventually, the neighbors will have to deal with it because it will expand into their space.
